Thank you so much Paula and Kathy ... a really fascinating talk. I am really enjoying the biography... and yes I am savouring it because I would like to hold on to Barbara's world for as long as I can. Paula: you have honoured Barbara's life and work in your insightful and comprehensive biography. I am so pleased that it is bringing more readers to her novels.

I enjoyed the biography as i discovered many new things about Miss Pym .It seems she was a "dark horse". Paula's enthusiasm for her subject really shines throughout this book. Barbara Pym reminds me of the great straight laced Actress Joyce Grenfell , who was from the same Era. They both had a gentle sense of humour and talent for writing. Thank you for this lively conversation.
