Wow, Ryan, you are such an inspirational speaker! I’m sorry to hear that people make off-side jokes when they see you after a while. You gave such great advice about being selective of who is in your circle and avoiding the “energy vampires”. Learning to say no and stopping the people-pleasing is a huge step and it’s something I’ve been trying to work on personally! The motto that sticks out to you really resonated with me. “Whatever path you’re on, do it for you”. We’ve all been compared to someone and that really brings down our self-confidence. But if we remember that motto, it can help us break free!
