This week down at Paul Linfoot Racing the RS500 engine receives its newly refurbished turbo, the Texaco shell gets a coat of epoxy primer down at Paddock Ten Paint, the 3dr is nearly finished and we get a little insight into Steve. Another SHORT week....2 days in fact but that didnt stop us crossing some jobs off the list!
Once again thanks for your support, comments, likes and shares. We appreciate them all!
And don't forget to check out Paddock Ten Paint on Facebook. Absolutely outstanding work guys. Thanks!

Mate in all seriousness half the reliability issues associated with cars of this era were directly attributed to the eccentric alarm & immobiliser systems fitted.. and that was a fact at the time. Can you just imagine the problems these things cause now at around 3 decades old 😂

Sounds like you've found the ideal bloke for your business Paul. That's one of the biggest problems nowadays finding someone who is interested in what they do and are able to deliver to your standards - like you say most don't give a monkey's and just want to be paid a lot of money. Firmly believe you will never be any good at what you do unless the interest is there and however much you know you never stop learning. Keep up the great work - always nice to see that quality and attention to detail.

I changed jobs a few times as companies closed, every job I have always had an interest in, whatever I do I want to do the best I can, however finding an employer like Paul is very rare, most employers don't care, you are just a assembly machine or tool, they are looking to replace you 10 minutes after your gone, never investing in you while you were there working, a dear friend died, after a decade of they thought nothing of him, emptied his locker the day he died, replaced by Wednesday, forgotten by the following Monday, slagged off rotten by the end of the month, for the next six months everything that went wrong was his fault. Finding an employer like Paul, with a passion for the job, is as rare as hens teeth.

@@Taz6688 i always say that Steve works ( with me ) not for me , he is very much appreciated for what he does for us , he goes out of his way to collect items we order on his way into work etc as he lives in a city where things are easier to get than in the country where i live . he has a huge skill set and can turn his hand to anything and is always looking for ways to do things better . It works both ways IMO , good workmates are very very hard to find , so make them happy in there work and look after them .

@@paullinfoot6017 I am glad you are both happy with the arrangement, it's good to see you have both found the ideal situation, having some to compliment you, support you and be a good friend, is rare. Seems you found a real asset, long may it continue as the uploads are always enjoyable and a pleasure to watch, I can drift off to my youth, and remember days of almost care free motoring.
