I’ve had that little SOG for a number of years...like you said, a little something extra to slip on the belt and a very unobtrusive EDC. In a real pinch, it could even be a virtually invisible, up close defensive weapon - and make it easier to create some space.

I've had my Snarl for 5 years, and been happy with it. It's currently my boot knife. As you mentioned, it's light and has great sheath retention.

Great job on these EDC items! While I love the feature set of the Jetbeam Mini One, I hate the flaw involving how easily it can be accidentally activated while in a pocket.

Love both those! I carry a spew scout carry at 11:00 an that SOG would also be perfect.the flashlight is insane. Thanks for sharing.

The snarl is my favorite belt buckle knife! Coulda sworn it was aus8a but I'm seeing their 9cr18mov. I've been really happy with it

SOG has really stepped up there folding knife game this year. Way higher quality and a axis type lock called the XR. I'm hoping to see a step in that direction with their fixed blades. They have some good designs with and upgrade in materials they could be a top competitor.

Sog does have a lot of low-cost quality tools of all types.

Stay away from there 5cr 3cr knives. They don’t keep or even get an edge on them at all in my experience. 8cr 9cr I will agree with you.

I carry a RovyVon A5 and love it. That thing is a trooper, but that Mini 1 definitely looks like an upgrade. I didn't care for the specs on that Nitecore version you covered awhile back. I even like the looks of that SOG I really do not need. Take care, Chris.
