I was in the area in 1991 but had been on the road for a couple of weeks with the MRS and she was getting tired of train chasing so this one didn t get done with us. Great angles! The cabooses give away the age of these videos. :) It still amazes me how these wooden trestles can support the weight of the trains crossing them.

I have been over Half Moon on my railbike several times. It's sad now, the condition of the line; tunnels collapsing, rock slides, one trestle burned. It's passing into history.

It was/is some of the most spectacular trackage in the US. With fires to trestles and dwindling traffic, it is a shadow of its former self. Thank for sharing!
