I love when you do Q&A’s!☺️ I would love to know how you navigate femininity during a “healing” season? Whether that’s physically healing or emotionally healing when you still want to be feminine but it seems like so much work.😞 My other question is How do you keep your confidence when it comes to being so whimsical? I love whimsical items in my home with decorating and I’ve heard comments about how “silly” I seem. (For example, my pig butter dish I adore or my hedgehog salt and pepper shakers) I love adding whimsy to my life and home (my husband also enjoys it) but feel like everything has become so serious especially in the homemaking community. It feels like a lot of pressure to be a “serious wife” all the time😞 any advice?

Caitlyn I started watching your videos years ago and got inspired from your house making and motherhood videos. I just became a young mother at 23 and think of you all the time. I get so excited to see your new videos, especially vlog style with your kids and husband! I wanted to ask if you ever have a chance to make an advice video about being a mother - dealing with post partum and managing household chores with a newborn and still managing to keep a healthy and exciting relationship with hubby? I’d also love to hear your take on having a second baby soon after the first. I also have a boy and am so in love with him; that the idea of having a second baby scares me as I never want my first to feel pushed aside or anything like that. Of course! I had so many of these same thoughts and fears. You are not alone!!! I’d love to speak more on this! As far as the house, Ive become quite humble and allowed help and also sometimes letting messes just exist and not pressuring myself to get it all done. It’s easier now that the boys can entertain themselves for a bit. I can get more done! But when you’re in the trenches, don’t be harsh with yourself. When other moms say it’s all a season, they are absolutely right! I’ve come to see that ❤

I'm with you Sophie, I got married last year and became a mother recently at 24! Everything Caitlyn said is the advice I'm trying to take. We just have to take each phase and season as it comes and love on our little ones while they still want our snuggles ❤❤ chores can wait!

I love this!! I am not a fall person really, but that doesn't mean I do not like it. I miss that fall. I moved from Long Island and have been back and forth between NC and VA for about five years, so fall comes, but not how it does up north. I miss it so much!! So this was so nice and reminded me of home. Also, I just love the family time you all spent together! It is so precious!! So important! Living your best life while eating some awesome cake!! Totally agree about quiet time!! My daughter dropped her nap at 18 months 💀 but she still desperately needs her “book time” alone in her room. She easily spends 90 minutes in there, sometimes more!

It’s so cool that you’ve been running!!!! I miss it so much, and can’t wait to get back into it when I’m not pregnant. I highly recommend, especially if you start going further/running for longer, the shokz open run headphones. You can still hear music really well, but your ears are open so you can listen for cars, dogs, people, etc. My husband was always a little worried about me running alone, and that did ease some worry. I live in GR so I know our circumstances are a bit different, but still a good thing to have. Lovely vlog, as always 💕💕

I had my first baby this summer (traumatic birth and postpartum), my husband is also a first responder in his probationary year (ugh haha) and I’m SOOOOO glad that you show both the sweetness and difficulty of motherhood.
