Though I am a feminist and not a believer (severe religious trauma), I just love your channel. The babies are so precious, your hubby has the loveliest blue eyes and you, well, you are about the most beautiful thing I have ever seen! What I appreciate about you is your genuine kindness. Additionally, you are able to express your convictions without feeling that you must denigrate those with opposing viewpoints. It's SO refreshing! The past three years have been SO challenging for me (my only son was killed on 8/21/20, my best friend from childhood passed on 10/03/21, my mother with Alzheimer's, for whom I was 24/7 caregiver, died six days ago) and I have never been so frazzled, nor experienced such grief! In the midst of all this, I find myself coming back to this channel to view any vlog which features your lovely family. It soothes and comforts me, the baby feet and babble, the way you smile at your beloved husband and the way he looks at you - it all makes me feel that all is right in the world again. I am a 66 year old widow with absolutely no family. Watching your vlogs just helps me feel a little less lonely, and I thank you for it.

The GRWM chat re: the importance of having mom friends is so essential. I felt just the same way as a home-maker/home-body; I didn’t mind being cooped up much at home without friends BUT my kids really pushed me to make friends for myself so they could benefit as well and I’m so happy I put in the effort. I also plan to homeschool my kids and the main outside criticism is always that they will turn out to be a “homeschool freak” etc , so I also want to prove everyone wrong on that assumption. I feel like because we aren’t religious it also was an extra effort for me to make friends, just because I didn’t even have something weekly like church to force myself out there. But I signed up for local toddler nature groups and just forced myself to talk to people. About 8 months later and we have a whole group that regularly meets and supports each other and the kids all get along!

Us Germans love to eat Pretzels for breakfast or dinner. You can simply enjoy it with butter and salt or eat sausage salad with it or typical Bavarian "obazda". You can put radish on top of the butter or chives. Just in case you'd like to have some variation with your Pretzels :) fresh pretzels should be crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. I loved to see how Bodie enjoyed them! If you want to learn some more German baked goods, there are many! Look into Black Forest cherry cake if you want something very traditional :) Love your vlogs

30:15 thisis incredibly random but I have to shout out the amazing editing here, girl! It gives me the “ick” SO BADLY when I see creators pretending like cameras caught them the MOMENT they wake up or the second they pull into the garage coming home from errands, as if they didn’t set the camera up and pretend 😂 of course everyone knows it’s curated but idk it’s something I’ve always noticed as strange. The way you did it was so cute though! It was like, an intentional shot of the van, you coming out with your bike, adjusting your clothes etc (like we all do hahah), grabbing the camera and going into the bike ride from there! Such a nice touch, love it. Your editing & video quality has grown immensely from 2018/2019, whenever you started. I’ve been a silent fan from the very first video!! Much love from Wisconsin ❤

I love pretzels or as we call them in Germany Brezeln (or Brezen in Bavaria). I live in Bavaria for college, but I'm from Swabia and the pretzels are so much better back home ;) you have to try swabian Brezeln at some point, they have crispy parts and the soft parts are less dry than bavarian ones. Amazing with butter or just on its own
