@ I have the greatest friends Brandy. They laugh with me, encourage me, visit me from over sees. My cats give me more than enough love and cuddles and I laugh by myself often because I’m hilarious :) I’m also incredibly grateful that I don’t have to take care of anyone’s manchild, I get to do everything and anything I want, every day of every minute. This channel is about embracing slowing down, solitude. If you enjoy family content, there’s a lot of those on the internet. Why you choose trying to add negativity to something wholesome is beyond me, but to each their own. ❤️

I am almost 70 and I still peel potatoes using a sharp paring knife. I have tried potato peelers but I prefer using my paring knife. How Mom did it. I live in central Kentucky, U.S. We had some light snow off and on in December and that was nice, but none for Christmas day. To get up and go out and walk in the forest in the snow ~ what a gift. We are gearing up for an approaching winter storm. I hope we don’t get a lot of ice!!! 🙏🏻 Thank you for this lovely video. 💗💕⛄️

@@breannegeorge9924 because I spent my savings on moving here, and also buying an insane amount of food and treats for them in case it was difficult to order it here as I live in the middle of nowhere. They have everything they need and more, I won’t waste money on gift wrapping and it’s unnecessary to put their toys or treats under a tree, because they’re cats. They won’t know it’s for Christmas or not. But I assure you I played and cuddled with them like every other day, which they in fact, appreciate.

@ I’m sorry for your loss. I created this channel as a reminder that there are so much joy and beauty in very simple every day things that we tend to not even notice. Actually if I may suggest something a book for you? You might find it useful on your journey. My all time favorite book is about an older woman going through grief after losing her husband and her journey of finding pleasure in life again. It’s called The Year of Pleasures by Elizabeth Berg. If you like to read, I think you might enjoy it. 💜

@ thank you, that’s very kind of you, I’m slowly getting there, I can see the beauty in life, but also it’s losses, I very well might read that book, I think it’s easier to be alone, especially if you’ve not had the intensity that marriage and family brings, but it’s always good to see that people who are on their own, are not lonely as such, just enjoying life. I couldn’t marry again, ( too old anyway) but I’m getting used to the fact that any decisions I make are completely my own ( sometimes)🤷‍♀️

@@noahab9163 you just pen fry some chicken with spices, add pineapple on top, wrap it in bacon and add cheese on it, then bake in the oven until it looks nice and crispy! Not sure about the name, my mum started making it when I was very young, we just call it pineapple chicken 🍍 🍗
