It’s funny because you were saying the stress pattern correctly for Sakura in the beginning, and then you got convinced that you had been saying it incorrectly that whole time. In Japanese, it is SA-ku-ra, but since you’re saying it with an accent, it sounds more natural in English to change the stress pattern to sa-KU-ra.

regarding a better alternative to trees, thats one reason why hemp was illegalized and is now being pushed to be legalized, not just the drug aspect. hemp makes a good textile

After you talked about paper and cutting down trees etc., I fell down a rabbit hole of all the different alternative things you can make paper out of like bamboo or cotton and it's pretty cool! I also saw a video about how to make recycled paper out of junk mail or other random papers you have lying around and now I wanna try it! It'd be so fun (and more sustainable ofc), instead of just throwing it all away.

Hey @MadMorph fellow allergic to the world here 👋 Truly everything under the sun, nature, food, metal aand animals, especially my cat's. I also had them while growing up and suddenly I was allergic in my teens. But instead of getting rid of my cat's I got rid of my doctor. Antihistamine helps, but there's a proper solution for it: Desensitization! You need to get cat proteins injected for a few years (first every week for 3 months, then once every month for about 2 1/2 years) It makes you feel a little like you have the flue but just for the day and after a month I barely felt it. I also did cat's and dust mites at the same time but it worked great. Now I'm 80% less allergic to both and especially my own cat's. I have 5 and they can even sleep in my bed 😻 Although I wash my bed every week and don't have carpets ( I also have several types of asthma 😏) but that's nothing compared to coughing blood like before. You could check your insurance, they usually pay...

There actually is a pretty great alternative to wood paper - hemp paper. But also, you can easily recycle paper at home and make new paper out of it if you have an old blender, it's pretty fun activity to do

I have fibromyalgia and I also have gluten intolerance i had tried so many things and figured hey why not try cutting out gluten and that helped me a lot (it may not help everyone with fibro we all have different bodies) i cheat from time to time when i think it's worth it because I always pay for it later with a feeling similar to the flu minus the fever but achy all over. I love it bc if you use Spanish and Japanese in "mineko", you have "mi" is 'my' in Spanish and "Neko" is 'cat' in Japanese, so the name would mean, "my cat" 🥹💕 Also, Bobo in spanish means 'dumb', but this one is very much not bobo 🤭😂

Mineko means beauty and childlike innocence, and Miyako means beautiful night child. They probably did also settle on the name Mineko because of Neko, but it's also possible that they incorporated cats into the game because of the name choice. It's hard to say

I have just started to watch, and Dad’s ability to call his daughter names is something else. I think it was meant to be nice, but… 13 and a half minutes in, and we already have Melonhead, Egghead and Wormburger here. Listen, I am not a native English speaker, but never have I ever heard anyone call their kids wormburger. Is it just me or does it sound a bit offensive? 🤔 If it was “Warm burger”, then ok, not the best name, but warm burger is something good. But “Worm burger”? What is it? A burger with worms? Gross. A burger (a meat) FOR worms? Disturbing.
