Since lockdown in our country, I've been trying to grow plants indoor too through hydroponics and some on soil. This video's whole vibe is so calming.

Just a tip: separate the roots when potting/repotting so that your plants' roots can grow into the new space.
@planthoe99924 жыл бұрын
Mostly nessesary only when the roots start circling the pot but other than that you don’t HAVE to, good tip though!
@alexandrastephens92044 жыл бұрын
Sidney Thimgan yeah I noticed some of her plants had filled the whole pot so they would probably benefit from some root separation or even root trimming if you’re a little daring.

Sweetest spirit, It might be helpful to always loosen the roots & soil esp. when you buy them from somewhere. Your Lavender wants airflow- so if it acts unhappy at all - that is what it will be upset with. I love all the sweet pots & nooks you have & utilize - Plants just make me so happy.. If you have any mint, it loves water & is easier to keep happy in a separate pot.. Tyme & Lavender do too as well.. esp because of the woody stem & oils withing.. They should also winter over well in a pot of their own Which is super nice I discovered because I would brush the plant gently which would cause the room air so smell delightfully aromatic

This was such a pleasant video. You and Robbert have such a pretty plant family! I don't have many plants, but my latest obsession is Portulacaria afra--it's so easy to grow, fun to learn about, has edible leaves (which taste like fruit), and can be styled various ways. Perfect for anyone out there like me who doesn't have a green thumb!

This was so calming and beautiful that it actually made me cry. I am so stressed out by everything at the moment but sadly enough most of all by living with flatmates I don't get along with and that I cannot escape under current circumstances. This really opened the floodgates but in a good way.

I've been spending a lot of time following the news and educating myself this past week and today in particular. Also, it must have been one hell of a project to edit; and it's absolutely beautifully composed :) Thank you for this lovely video

Lovely, and rewarding too, I imagine. Next time you replant your window boxes, it might be a good idea to empty them, save the good plants and then give the boxes a thorough scrub to avoid any problems from last year‘s plants affecting the new ones (fungi etc.), and usually last year‘s earth has no more nutrients, so it‘s better to start afresh with completely new earth and fertiliser for the best and healthiest plants all summer! Enjoy!

Oh damn, this video felt quite different! Editing, sound and overall planning! I loved this so much, great work Loepsie! That monstera is looking beautiful, I always look into getting more plants but I feel like I hardly have any space left, maybe some smaller ones like the ones you got would fit in and not concern my boyfriend with my leafy obsession haha (plus aromatics are also welcome to the kitchen).

You should really try and find neem oil or something similar that deals with mealies for your aloe, I take care of plants for a living so I’ve learned the hard way that alcohol does nothing to combat the mealies. Spraying your aloe baby with neem and quarantining is your best bet! Good luck!!
