I totally agree with you about the feeling of library books, especially new ones that are still fresh. But there's also something really satisfying about reading a well-worn copy of a book from the library. You just feel when you're holding it how many other people have already read and enjoyed the story.

omg i'm also the husband when i get sick 😭i think my immune system likes to work overtime. i feel like i do the MOST when i request purchases at my library, but they've accepted every one unless they've been unable to order it for a logistical reason.

I'm glad you talked about you not eating while reading your library books and how you were worried about anyone with allergies. As you probably already know, I, myself am anaphylactic to peanuts and tree nuts and have always had to be careful with library books. When I was younger I was lucky enough to own a lot of children's books so I didn't have to resort to library books at the time (as they were absolutely disgusting inside). Now as an adult who has used my library for almost 10 years, I just make sure to wash my hands after reading a library book and try not to touch my face or anything while reading. I've noticed a lot of manga and teen books I've read have a lot of crumbs/food stains in them so I especially love when I borrow an adult book and it's so clean and looks brand new!

i love libraries and i love giving them the books i don't want to keep on my shelves. they don't have a large budget for english ya (we're a non english speaking country) so they appreciate the gift. and i love the thought of so many people benefitting from my donation, especially as someone who used the library almost my whole life myself. i prefer this cause it feels more like supporting the local community than some big nameless charity/2nd hand store. love your videos! take care of yourself ❤

If you want to try again just bake them til they are very golden brown. Especially the vegan ones need extra time and the bakers at Whole Foods usually just bake stuff on vibes and don’t follow the time instructions.
