Regarding not needing a new month/year/etc to refresh: As Taylor Swift sings, "Today is never too late to be brand new." ❤Good on you for adding more flexibility to your mindset! I honestly just enjoy listening to you talk, like it doesn't matter so much if books are involved. So yes to productivity vlogs, reset vlogs, etc. I can't remember if you do any fancy paper planning (lol, to me that means stickers are involved), but I'd also be down for planner videos. I'm a digital planner these days, so I live vicariously through planner vids to get my fix.

okay imo the best way to create a new habit is to tie it to a habit you already have. super random specific example: my cat's litterbox is out of the way so sometimes i have trouble remembering to do it every day. but every morning i make a keurig coffee. so while i'm waiting for my coffee to brew, i run down and do the litterbox and my coffee is ready when i get back. something like that! also i love the weekly vlogs but i do looove a productivity vlog.

I have scorpions in my house from April to Oct/Nov and they are annoying! I’ve found them in my shower too😬 I know people believe cats are immune but mine wasn’t. She got sick and was okay but it’s not true. I also have a desert tortoise and we have found them in his/her home outside..yuck! Thank you for the speech about being kind to yourself, especially about reading. I have iron flam and for some reason am not excited to read it. I started it and I enjoy it while reading but really have no motivation to read. Ugh! I’m thinking because October was a big month of new releases that I read (3) books so I’m maybe just in a tiny slump. Idk! Anyways, love your vlogs! Thanks for posting!

Here in Australia we've had two days of warm Spring weather 30 C = 86 F, so we are warming up for Summer Dec-Feb! We have been warned of a very hot summer this year, so everyone is going to be worrying about 'fire' season from now on. The 'wild fires' are not something to look forward to, but Summer is the time for them. I am already looking forward to Autumn in March '24 . . .

At least I think I translated that correctly...😆 Also quick question, my kitty is reaching Senior Status, with the heating pad how do you clean the shedding fur? My kitty is a medium hair so she has some warmth but I know her joints and little pawsies will love the heat.

I honestly lint roll the one that’s in the bedroom, but the one that’s her solo one is hard to keep clean because she sleeps on it every night! I try to brush it, but it’s never fully off 😭

Here are 2 tips that work for me on maintaining habits: 1. Make them achievable. Make the goal "open the editor and edit for 1 minute" rather than "edit all of todays videos" because sitting down is the hardest part and often you'll do more than 1 minute. Plus, if you can do it easily, you won't have that "well, I didn't do it yesterday" mentality that always causes me to quit. 2. Do it every day and keep track. Have a sticker on your calendar or an app on your phone that is prominent (I use a habit tracker app and have the habit as a widget on my iPhone home screen) so that it's in your face whether you've done it. If you keep track, you get a little happy rush for completing your task every day.

Totally agree with this! I use an app called Finch and you grow a little bird by completing your to do list each day. Some days Tuba (my bird) is what makes me actually get out of bed and it really helps me stick to habits

re: talking too much. I never stop myself in the moment because apparently I'm not self-aware when it comes to chatting away and giving my intimate life details to the cashier at the grocery store, but afterward, when I get in the car I always yell YOU TALK TOO MUCH at myself.

Ok so you always refer to your partner as your partner and are extremely gender neutral in an references, totally cool. But then, you say something like "Jake jumped on the bed" and I legit think you mean your partner pretty much everytime 🤣 unless of course its clearly a dog specific thing like chewing his foot 🤣 no pressure to change how you take about your partner, I respect that esp if it's their choice, but dang it's hilarious how I watch you at least once a week and when you mention Jake my brain thinks that's your partner 🤣 like why doesn't my brain think the tortoise is your partner or the cat? Basically, why does my brain do this? Also, as a kid my aunt had a bf named Jake so that may be why I auto humanize the name, but still, my brain fails... I get migraines when I ovulate and they can last until my cycle starts, so like 14 days, I take the pill and it's lessened them in both severity and frequency. Initially I thought it was computer/screen related until I started to track them and my cycle... I still ovulate with the birth control which isn't supposed to happen, but I've had a few miscarriages while on it so I know. Plus, I still get other hormone changes like tender boobs, PMS, and all that stuff before it's even a sugar pill day. Anyway, if you're not on the pill and you're not trying to get pregnant you may want to consider it to see if it helps with your headaches and migraines. Only suggesting BC you've mentioned many a headache over the months I've watched. I like an your videos but def love this style of a bit of everything! Have you done the 1000 books to have a library counting video? (Ive seen quite a few so can't remember without looking) but I think it's a fun one! 💞
