I really enjoy catching Crappie and I really like this video! I'm 70 years old and have fished all my life and you are teaching me things I never knew! I am a little surprised you use such large hooks but you sure are catching those Crappie on them! Are the minnows alive or are they dead, I was trying to see how you hook them up! they look like big minnows too, I'm from southern Michigan and we generally use fairly small minnows! I hook mine through the lips, so I don't cast them off! I notice you aren't losing your minnows, maybe because of how you are hooking them on! I am looking forward to watching your videos young man, tyvm very informative and just great videos all around!

Man I have told countless people when they ask me how I catch limits in middle of summer , middle of the day no wind or wind all the factors that everybody says crappie are deep and hard to catch . And I tell them I’m fishing 20ft less a lot of time in summer and they can’t believe it . And most want believe lol . So I smile and wave and keep catching .
