I enjoy using minnows but they've become pricey. I'll use a soft plastic that looks like a minnow. Or I'll use my go to 1/8 white crappie jig or a chartreuse 1/32 oz jig. I'll use a white grub worm it'll make rig look like a small baitfish. You'll catch descent smallies if you use trophy bass by procure. Also you can use crappie cocktail by procure for crappie 🙂

I believe the fall bite is on in PA also, couldn’t catch much all summer and got about a dozen keepers over the weekend. Caught a 12.5 and 11.5 in a body of water that I swore had only 5 and 6 inch stunted crappie. Tonight I was fishing a lake by me that was totally drained in 2020, they stock trout and there are tons of 12” bass in there, right at dusk on my final cast I caught a 14” white crappie. I am still shocked, I fish there probably once or twice a week and that was the first crappie I’ve ever seen in there, it it was a slab!! Unfortunately it’s catch and release except for trout until the biologists give the okay for harvest. I also catch 8 to 9 inch bluegills there regularly. Very thankful for your channel

I totally agree about how well Lithium batteries perform. However , you are advised to not run your sonar units on the same battery as your trolling motor because of interference. I watched this video to find out where crappie go in the fall. Still don't know.

The distance on the camera is hard to judge. Looks like you're parked a ways from the boeys, but see you flipping your jig instead of casting, so got to be closer than it appears. Approx how far are you setting up from your boueys? Are your boeys this side of the brush, far side, or right over? Thanks for all your great content.

@903fishing3 ай бұрын
Not many catching crappie from the bank in the summer time. You just can’t get to them. It’s not that I don’t want to, you just don’t catch crappie from the bank in the summer. Maybe a spillway. I had a video a couple weeks ago crappie fishing from the bank. Majority of bank fishing videos come from November-March. For me anyway, that’s when crappie are accessible from the bank. Thanks for watching! August/september can be the hardest months of the year to catch crappie for most people. Not just from the bank! Temps are hot.

Is Minnows are the best for fall fishing or Jig's. Thanks in advance
@903fishing3 ай бұрын
I wouldn’t say the best. During the fall the water temperatures fall so crappie will more than likely hit a jig, but a minnows works when jigs don’t. Usually!

Lol this lake is so full of crappie it will never happen 😂😂 Burning a lake? Never heard of such. Talk to the full time guides that keep 1000+ fish every month for clients, compared to my MAYBE 100 a month. It’s their job, puts food on the table, same with my content. Also, you must know nothin on how prolific spawners crappie. Fishing out a decent size lake with plenty of bait is nearly impossible.
