It's comforting knowing that the vast majority of us are having the same (excited, relieved, thrilled) reaction to seeing that you've posted a video because we're hunkered down and isolating. This might sound weird, and it could be just me, but it is very soothing watching an entire face of foundation being applied. I like to see how it applies, and the complete transition from no foundation to foundation. I'd love to have seen the entire cushion application. Is that weird? Anyone else feel that way? Thanks :)

Just takes me back to 6 years ago when i stumbled upon your casual red lip video which is the first tut i ever watched and from then i binge watched all of your videos and still do whenever i'm bored. You're the one that first got me into makeup and taught me how to do it in a way that truly made me feel good about myself during the struggle of those low-self-esteem-filled teenage years. Omg Karima, I had the same problem this past 2 months. It went on and on and literally nothing I used was working... my skin barrier was just trashed. Around my mouth, it would excessively peel and crack. All over I was just so dry and had dry patches just didn’t go away. Bumpy texture all over. Any kind of chemical exfoliant irritated my skin. I tried Sulwhasoo, the balancing emulsion for the first time and it was literally the only thing that didn’t burn my skin. It’s now back to normal. I’m also using the la mer skin tint, also never burns my barrier compromised skin and leaves a beautiful glow. I highly recommend!

My number one Netflix recommendation is and always will be Sense8, one of my all time favorite shows. Other series recs Peaky Blinders (what I'm watching right now), Dear White People, Mindhunter, Criminal Minds, Spinning Out, Chilling Adventures of Sabrina, The Magicians, & Girl Boss. For movies The Guernsey Literary & Potato Peel Society, To All The Boys..., Molly's Game, The Boy In The Stripped Pajamas (warning: this one will make you cry in a sad way) - I'm overwhelmed by the movie section and it changes so much so I don't have as many recs there. I would literally watch anything you put out because you're my fave - I can never get bored of a tutorial or chatty GRWM ❤️

When I have breakouts or texture on my cheeks, I mix my concealer with my cream blush and bronzer to ensure coverage. Usually, I apply as normal, then make a small mixture and tap it over the breakout. I find that this gives me less textural issues than using powders.

Hey Karima, what are you thoughts on using the cushion of a cushion foundation? I love the concept/product but always get concerned about how clean it'll stay, and I'm not sure how I can clean the sponge? Not sure if you've seen this blog post: shamelessfripperies.com/blog/olive-foundations-swatches/ What I typically recommend (if you're wanting to get a real close match) is to buy a white foundation - I like Face Atelier Zero Minus.
