It's comforting knowing that the vast majority of us are having the same (excited, relieved, thrilled) reaction to seeing that you've posted a video because we're hunkered down and isolating. This might sound weird, and it could be just me, but it is very soothing watching an entire face of foundation being applied. I like to see how it applies, and the complete transition from no foundation to foundation. I'd love to have seen the entire cushion application. Is that weird? Anyone else feel that way? Thanks :)

Oh my god! I really miss your make up tutorials 💖💖 so nice to watch a new one. Just takes me back to 6 years ago when i stumbled upon your casual red lip video which is the first tut i ever watched and from then i binge watched all of your videos and still do whenever i'm bored. You're the one that first got me into makeup and taught me how to do it in a way that truly made me feel good about myself during the struggle of those low-self-esteem-filled teenage years. Excited for more of this content from you babe 💖💖 Love you 💖

I've got a bit old one: "Alienist". I think there's just one season, but it's...dark, creepy, so imaginative. Brilliant, freezes the blood in you veins. And the other one is a new one "how to fix a drug scandal", based on true events. Thank you for coming back. I've really missed you!!!

Omg Karima, I had the same problem this past 2 months. It went on and on and literally nothing I used was working... my skin barrier was just trashed. Around my mouth, it would excessively peel and crack. All over I was just so dry and had dry patches just didn’t go away. Bumpy texture all over. Any kind of chemical exfoliant irritated my skin. I tried Sulwhasoo, the balancing emulsion for the first time and it was literally the only thing that didn’t burn my skin. It’s now back to normal. I’m also using the la mer skin tint, also never burns my barrier compromised skin and leaves a beautiful glow. I highly recommend!

I'm going to state the obvious but you have to watch La Casa De Papel, if you haven't already? The Mind of Aaron Hernandez is quite good. Orphan Black is an all-time favorite. Just finished Elite, also Spanish. Bodyguard, Peaky Blinders. Don't know what you're into so I give you options 🤣

My number one Netflix recommendation is and always will be Sense8, one of my all time favorite shows. Other series recs Peaky Blinders (what I'm watching right now), Dear White People, Mindhunter, Criminal Minds, Spinning Out, Chilling Adventures of Sabrina, The Magicians, & Girl Boss. For movies The Guernsey Literary & Potato Peel Society, To All The Boys..., Molly's Game, The Boy In The Stripped Pajamas (warning: this one will make you cry in a sad way) - I'm overwhelmed by the movie section and it changes so much so I don't have as many recs there. I would literally watch anything you put out because you're my fave - I can never get bored of a tutorial or chatty GRWM ❤️

I had the same problem with my lips last year. I was allergic to a certain toothpaste and the corners of my lips would crack and bleed. It took a while but good old vaseline helped my lips heal. Girl, my skin has been freaking out too. My forehead decided to give me a huge fungal acne problem, one that is so hard to get rid of. 😞 Thank you for uploading, Karima and giving us some normalcy during this difficult time. Hoping you and yours are staying safe and healthy. ❤️

When I have breakouts or texture on my cheeks, I mix my concealer with my cream blush and bronzer to ensure coverage. Usually, I apply as normal, then make a small mixture and tap it over the breakout. I find that this gives me less textural issues than using powders.

My Netflix recommendations for comedy are The Good Place, Schitt's Creek, Derry Girls, Disenchantment (made by same ppl as Simpsons and Futurama) and Please Like Me which is a great Aussie show from Josh Thomas that came out a few years back. The Witcher is on Netflix and is a super entrancing fantasy/drama - not usually my thing but it was so good. Also, not Netflix but The Dublin Murders on SBS On Demand is my new favourite crime-noir type show. Tbh I've finished all of these series and have been binging Bon Appetit here on youtube this week 😂

I NEVER have breakouts but I'm breaking out in the same places as she is right now! It's so discouraging because every time one goes away a new one pops up lol. Whenever I put concealer on them, no matter how long I let the concealer sit before blending it out, the pigment just blends right away so it just looks flaky but you can still see the redness 🙄

Hey Karima, what are you thoughts on using the cushion of a cushion foundation? Your chin situation reminds me of me about three months back, I had been through extreme stress at work and was working long hours and the response was hormonal acne. I have the same thing with my lips. My dermatologist calls it "angular chelosis" and it turns out that im allergic to pretty much all lipsticks, castor oil, lanolin, as well as lots of face creams. So ive had to stow away all of my beloved tom ford and pat mcgrath lipsticks and use aquaphore as "lip gloss." Its hard cuz i love makeup so much, but im allergic to almost all lipproducts

I've had to do similar, except my allergy seems to be fragrance. My skincare is so basic and boring now, but my skin has never been better. I do miss all the nice smelling products though!

I was hoping you would do a salt New York tutorial during the end of May. I think that is when the preorders go out ( aka when I get mine) and I would love to see how you use them.

Hi Karima! I’ve sent a DM on Instagram too, but in terms of a video, I’d love to see your recommendations for foundations that can match light olive skintones. I’m a neutral undertone, light/ light to medium olive girl and struggling with shades that match. Everything too dark, or beige or the wrong sort of yellow (need a bright yellow, if that makes sense). Would be great to have a video on this! Thanks for today’s video- great tips on spot concealing!

Not sure if you've seen this blog post: shamelessfripperies.com/blog/olive-foundations-swatches/ What I typically recommend (if you're wanting to get a real close match) is to buy a white foundation - I like Face Atelier Zero Minus. It's much easier to find olive foundations in the medium category and having a white foundation to mix gives you LOTS of options :) Also worth checking out my Favourite Foundations video as I mention olive skintone matches there too. xx

I pretty much can't use any Two Faced products due to allergies. I had to return the Born This Way foundation due to hivey lumps.

Netflix recommendation: Outlander! It's a bit of fantasy (not a ton) love story set in England and Scotland. It's absolutely beautiful, the story is captivating and the music is just....😙👌 Perfect. Love this vid!
