The last time I drank alcohol was March 2022. I found the older I’ve gotten, my body just doesn’t metabolize alcohol well and I’d feel sick and nauseous within an hour of drinking. A good reminder to listen to our bodies.

I agree man, I am with you! I will not fail this time, I will take it easy tomorrow. It is ok to skip desert. I actually don't even enjoy deserts anymore. I or 2 beers tops. December 1st is day 1 of my 6 months of training. Minimal/no alcohol, no processed foods. I have a long distance hike I want to do next summer.
