I don’t have any assault stories about idols, my comment about it being a bit concerning that some hit fans up after shows was purely psychologically from the fans perspective and idols should be more aware of this. But when that’s said, I fully support and love that idols are having fun and satisfying their needs. We should all be supportive and happy for them. May be it would have been more prudent too not have commented at all. For those of us close to celebrities it’s very disconcerting to have “those who think they know it all” commenting on our family and friends when we don’t offer our opinions, because we know their jobs are far from easy and a simple task of going to get a cup of coffee is photographed, commented ruthlessly. Yes!!! Some fans get conerned that their idols are overly controlled by their companies and then the same fans don't want basic human rights for the idols, like freedom to love whoever they want. You become the controller at that point. They should experience whatever the fans can also experience. Life, basically!

@@sisselab Having been in a relationship for the past 14 years ( was lucky enough to meet my SO when I was 20), my advice is to always be open with each other, no need to play games and have big egos. Being right is not always the right thing. Being mindful of your partner, however, is always a good thing. Love is a very abstract thing, but communication, respect and admiration for each other is something you can actually measure and see in your actions. regarding the “having no life purpose” question (i feel this too) i love to tell people that it all begins at the base level of care for ones self. our hygiene, physical health, nutrition, mental health, and emotional health has a huge impact on how we function and navigate the outside world. when we care for ourselves at the most basic level we are communicating to our bodies and self that we matter. you are actively validating your self and this will translate into how you treat yourself and see yourself as you transition into spaces outside of your comfort spaces. when you see yourself as deserving of more than what you currently have you’ll have the passion and courage to be your best self and put yourself out there. love yourself! forget your insecurity and just take a leap of faith. i know depression is different for everyone and is never easy but consistent practice of these things will help you 💕

I really appreciate what Sissel said about being an idol not just in Korea but other countries like the US etc. Like the fact that I think everyone (fans) often forget that idols and celebrities are humans as well and they all have needs and wants. They have to have the neccesities that we humans need. I think that side of being a famous person or group is overlooked very often and i feel like the world has this perception of how idols are there for our entertainment purposes when realistically and truthfully, they are humans as well.
