Jack is actually the head instructor at a bunch of open track days every year, so you actually could learn from him if you are keen.

I had a great time, and Jack's car at full song sounds amazing. The next closest car on the track was a V8 MX5. The Viper and the Ferrari, were not even close.

All of his aero is home made, and it all works very well. The fact that he can drive his car to and from the track, kill everything out there and then drive it to the shops later that night, is awesome.

I met you the day you came out to the track and I just found this video. To my surprise the first 45seconds or so I see my sons Spec Miata as you enter the track. Just wondering when you’re coming back this way. I’m working on a 1966 912 project (73 RSR tribute) that would love to have your input. Keep up the good work I really enjoy your cars and videos you make.

I will have to confirm with Jack, but I think he was running Nitto R888's which last him 12 months on the road and the track. He did mention that he did a day with Hoosier's which were much stickier, but he only got one track day out of them.

They're NT01s, 255 in front 315 in back. I don't think I'd be able to get that kind of longevity from R888s.

Meats! Thanks gents! The PS2s I'm running right now (17x9/11 rim) are a bit too stretched for my liking. I didn't know NT01s came in 315/35 R17s...thanks for the top tip!

Great stuff Jeff , a bit dodgy with les predictable drivers in the way, I like the way Jacks car transforms in to a race car for the track then he drives it home again as normal .... Good luck with the windscreen : )

Do you know if the front splitter Jack had was one he custom made or is that something available somewhere?

Jack made it himself from roof flashing. It is a very functional DIY bit of kit.

Hey mate cool vid wen you painted your car was that a solid colour or matalic an what brand of paint cheers

My car is a Signal Orange, which is a factory solid colour. I painted it with Unicolour paint in a Clear over Base.

Yes it was urethane. In my opinion acrylic lacquer always looks amateur.
