I feel like I've known you forever my new friend. I'm thankful you enjoyed this. It was a great trip. I have a time keeping up with my daughter and husband physically. They help me alot.

My husband and I celebrated one of our anniversaries there and we had a great time. Seen most of the things you did. We also did a ghost walk and it was very fascinating. At one point this car pulled up and this lady asked if we were enjoying ourselves and it was Thelma Lou. She let me take her picture…I was so excited. We ate at Snappy’s too…he had the pork chop sandwich and loved it. I can’t remember what I had…lol

How neat to have met Thelma Lou!!! It was such a wonderful trip. It seemed like life just slowed down at Mayberry.

Reading your post, I was confused, so I looked up where she lived..... SON OF A GUN! Betty Lynn, Barney’s Girlfriend Thelma Lou on ‘The Andy Griffith Show,’ Dies at 95. Betty Lynn died Saturday after a short illness in Mount Airy, North Carolina, where she lived in a retirement home. She had moved to the birthplace of Andy Griffith in 2006- now home to the Andy Griffith Museum, where she regularly signed autographs and delighted fans - October 26, 2021.....

What a fun video! I have lived near Raleigh all my life but have never spent the day in Mayberry. It is now on my list of places to go visit. 😊 How is your knee? I just had my left knee replacement on June 10 and am doing great.
