Yeah it was targeted at traditional white families who were fed up with all the civil rights movements by minorities and women (all those pesky people). I’ve read the book, where she talks about that couple and that she had wanted to keep her real fist name - - Anna.

Love you Clint. You and Ron were always so talented. I grew up with you guys. Kinda seems like we're family. I always loved everything I seen you do. Stay well, brother.

Thank you Clint. That was really cool. I grew up in the 70s and 80s. And it was reruns where I fell in love with The Andy Griffith show. My mom worked two jobs then. And shows like this, Gomer Pyle, Beverly Hillbillies, etc. They were something like my baby sitter. You know? And it I would watch these shows all day. Especially in the summer. I loved them. Now I'm considered an old soul. Lol. Buy hey. I'm OK with that. Please let us to continue to bring us these gems. It's really cool.

Clint had such a easy part he didn't have to say anything. Just offer people his peanut butter and jelly sandwich

He was so adorable eating that sandwich!

Ran into Clint a couple times at N. Hollywood Park around '80/'81. After introducing myself, I joined him in a little fencing, slinging the epees around! I had no idea what I was doing, not being familiar at all with fencing (at 25). Nice guy, certainly, and I couldn't help but tell him I must've seen "Rock'n'Roll High School" (where he played Mr. Eaglebauer) two dozen times a couple years earlier (I had come to know the Ramones fairly well, and took friends to see it)!

No cliche, ":Thanks for the memories " .Really enjoyed your dad's home movies. Best to the Howard family and everyone else ♡

I never get tired of Andy Griffith episodes, no matter how many times I’ve seen them. Also something about seeing the behind the scenes in color makes it feel so strange. Black and White Tv shows have a whole different vibe that makes you feel so warm. It’s the classics.

Great insights from Clint and it’s clear that Rance Howard was an exceptional man who influenced the relationship between Opie and Andy and Andy Griffith appreciated his input. Still one of the best shows ever produced and there were so many valuable lessons on parenting that are needed today more than ever.

Ron and Clint turned out so well because of their parents. I read all of their childhood earnings were protected for them by their parents. As Paul Peterson of A Minor Consideration said … “kid performers should choose their parents well”!

Ron and Clint’s parents are what Macaulay Culkin’s and the others who suffered under stardom at such a young age needed.

Thank you Clint and Ron for sharing tales about your childhood and young adult lives. I was greatly inspired by your stories, while I was in a very dark time. You are truly making a difference in people's lives by just being you. Thank you.
