It looks absolutely beautiful there! We already have our accommodations booked for the rest of our stay this time. But we'll add it to our list for next time! Thank you so much. 🙏
We didn’t know this about sour food! And we ALWAYS eat spicy food, as spicy as we can get it. Phed mak! 🔥👌

Another lovely video Ashley and Mike! It’s good to see you’ll taking the time to enjoy these slow days. How do you typically travel within the city, for eg:- Chiang Mai where I’m guessing there’s no metro system
@mikeandashley6 ай бұрын
Thanks guys! 🙏🙏 Tbh, we typically walk around. If you’re in Old City, it’s quite walkable. It’s even not so bad if you’re in Nimman or Riverside. If it’s long distances, we take either Grab or a Songtheaw, which is like a taxi truck, very affordable.
Jing Jai means sincere/no hidden agenda. It's a common word. You can use it in conversation. Jing alone means true. Jai means heart. Btw, Jai is pronounced like Mai as in Chiang Mai. Would love to visit that market one day. Thanks for the video ☺

Love ❤️-meet the fans bit content in your videos 😂. A true hipster city, a true liberal artisan culturally and a true deep heritage, rich tradition places that is more than a treasures itself. So if you are looking for an all in one lifestyle that has a little of everything coming together from a vibrant busy city to a cool relaxing urban life style, from modern tech comfort amenities to - back to the magnificent basics invention or from fully excitement activities pack to nothingness and tranquility ZEN essence, then Chiangmai is truly the place for you. We have experienced Chiangmai at its worst during the highest toxic air pollution and the best around its colder seasons in Thailand. We also felt this city in Thailand has a magnetic temptation that could easily make people fallen in love with. Well we did, particularly with the Thai famous food culinary and Chiangmai will definitely take you far beyond that. Highly recommend OnsenMoncham 😍❤Chiangmai❤

Haha, thank you! I thought it was funny. 😅 And we couldn’t agree with you more. It’s such a vibe, which is why we love it so much. We’ve also been here when the air was awful, when the rain is pouring and when it’s borderline too cold out! It’s such a beautiful region, and even outside of the city, there’s so much to see and do. Thanks for watching! 😊🙏

@@mikeandashley Have you tried onsenmoncham? We love their ideology of sustainability farming local produce that creates jobs opportunities for the local as well as combining two cultures of Japanese and Thai jargon together. The balance results works out unexpectedly well in terms of the production quality -showing through out the establishment. The hotel has a great atmospheric gestures of Japanese onsen spa in a tropical Thai setting, and may be one of the best Japanese wagyu and the secret northern Thai soup that we haven’t tasted anywhere before. Give it a go ❤️

Chiang Mai is full of character and charm. I lived there for a year, but in the end me and my wife got tired of the ever increasing traffic and pollution.
@mikeandashley7 ай бұрын
It really is! The traffic doesn’t seem so bad to us, but we’ve only been over the last two years, so we don’t have much to compare it to. The air quality in smoky season is tragic. That plus the heat makes it tough during those months. But otherwise, it’s one of our favorite places on earth to just chill and have all the conveniences!

We haven't applied for any yet. We were thinking about Shanghai with the 144 hour visa, but we have a new plan, that we may or may not be able to pull off that would require a proper tourist visa.
