What's really the job or position name? I have seen other places where machine learning engineer, AI engineer even Data scientist names are used for describing the same kind of job and skills. Right now I'm a Devops engineer and it happens the same with my position where many other companies call it devops engineer, SRE, Cloud engineer, Sysadmin... I'm really interested in machine learning and I want to understand the actual job market that machine learning/AI can cover.

See if you can switch your major to Computer Science. It teaches about software engineering but also should teach about AI programming. You'll have a more broad range of skills than if you major in only Software Engineering.

Python for sure for AI and ML. Python is used for all the frameworks and way faster to set things up and learn

I’d definitely go with what u like the most. Personally I’m more of an ai guy. The benefits with software is that there are more jobs now but might be replaced with software 2.0 and ai in the coming decades. U can also do a combination of both which is what I would recommend if u are into both areas

You can also try front end development if you don't want these hard mathematics algorithms questions asked in interview. Generally your logical thinking and logical reasoning is also important of you want to go AI development career. I have a question for you. 4 cars are parked in a parking lot (color of cars are yellow, green, red and blue). Green is parked to the 2nd left side. Yellow is parked rightmost. Red is in the right side of green. Where is blue car parked? Also type the order in which car are parked left to right side. This was an example question and is it REALLY easy

Hi i'm an electrical and electronics engineering final year student but i took ml classes and doing ml internship right now but i also enjoy working as signal processing and communication. I also worked in IOT area as a part time engineer that seems to connect those two areas in company projects but im not sure how to proceed i also want to do my master after getting my bachelor's degree. Do you have any recommandation?

Hi Sounds awesome and cool that u are doing so many things. They are actually pretty different fields but my recommendation would as always to go for what you feel like doing now. You can always branch out to whatever both after but also during ur degree. I was doing a masters in robotics but spent most of my time learning machine learning and computer vision. At the end u can use all of it together. A computer science degree would prob cover more of what u mentioned but not so much hardware. Depends on if u like hardware or software the most. U could always do the other thing as a side gig as I did

@@NicolaiAI Thanks for the reply. Yes as you mentioned I think I can always work on other areas during my degree. Actually I don’t like working on hardware and design but I like software. But I don’t like just working on some abstract software projects. I need to see what my algorithm achieves visually. Like when doing some digital signal processing in MATLAB I can see the affect of my code to the signal whether it is a sound or wireless signal. And when working a machine learning algorithm in the end my code accomplishes something. In a lecture project I build a classification model with animal voices dataset and that was cool.Now I am working on image classification and that also requires image processing, filters etc. I guess I like data preprocessing but I also want to see the end result.So in what area I should do my masters on that’s my main concern. Is it data engineering, machine learning engineering etc
