No, we have a Dessalator water maker, and it self primes. We have never had a problem with the air in the hose. And, Yes, many times air gets into the hose. Thanks for the good wishes! K and Z

Sailing Aquarius Around The World A watermaker The desalination machine's I used crewing on a few Yachts would shut down in rough seas! AC never worked the self priming would get air and create high head temperatures! They were always midship.

Yeah, we took over Delos, and put them in the keel. Starting to feel sorry for them.... a bit... Maybe in the next video we'll let them out for a while.. :)

“Area to be avoided” off of Whangerei [19:05 or so] disappeared on zooming out...... 🤓

It's mandatory for vessels over 45 metres to avoid the area, the rule has been in place since December 2004. According to international maritime law, those ships must not pass within 5km east, or seaward, of the islands.

This time we are not doing too much on the hard. Clean up the bottom, slap on a coat of Antifowl where it needs it, and change out a through hole valve. That is about it, Aquarius is in really good shape! But, we did do a bunch of work in Bay of Islands Marina which we should show on a video soon.
