A Day in Marmaris, Turkey | What to see in 2024 | Bay Views, Old Town, Marmaris Castle, & More!

Spend the day with me in Marmaris, Turkey. I’ll show you some things to see and do in this beautiful part of Muğla province. We’ll take in the Marmaris Bay views, walk through the quaint alleys of Old Town, and see relics at the Marmaris Archaeology Museum of the Castle. In addition, we’ll check out the well-known Grand Bazaar and farmers market. I hope you enjoy the sights of this popular Turkish tourist destination along the Mediterranean Sea. The old houses around Marmaris Castle date back to the Ottoman period. These houses were built in the 18th century and form an important part of the historical texture of Marmaris. Materials such as stone, adobe and wood were used in the construction of old houses. Most of the houses are two-storey and bear the characteristics of traditional Turkish architecture🧿🧿🧿
