Not sure if you’ve already visited, but I’d highly recommend you guys go to Puebla Cholula and visit the largest pyramid in the world! It’s about 2-3 hours away from CDMX 😁👍🇲🇽❤️🇬🇧

I went last year, it’s was insane! Something like 10km of tunnels inside of the pyramid. And it has an amazing view of Cholula and the volcanos. 🌋

Back in the 70's when I was a kid, visitors could access all of those places and climb the Sun and Moon gods immense pyramids ... There weren't too many vendors and everything was more "natural"... In fact, you needed to bring your own food and water ... We used to visit many arqueológical and adventure places around México, like climbing the Popocatépetl, Iztaccihuatl and Nevado de Toluca volcanos.Also, discover small towns and natural marvels around the country, like a virgin Cancun (in 1983) and Yucatán Peninsula un a road trip... In México, adventure never ends! ❤️🇲🇽

Apocalypto is a very wrong vision of the time period. Mel Gibson and his intent to show how ''wrong'' our civilizations were, made sure to show our culture as savages, but nothing further from the truth. Cannibalism was ritualistic and only a handful of people took part in it. It wasn't common since there was so much food in the city, that it wasn't necessary. The city was super clean also, nothing as depicted in that horrible movie.

@AdrianMendoza016 күн бұрын
Apocalipto is trash from beginning to end!! It's the classic example of "civilized" people's ignorance... like the myth that says Mexicans are all "narcos" shooting each other on every street around the country and the other lie they show in the movies where the whole country is a desert and looks dusty and underdeveloped. Just a bunch of lies for the naive! 🤔🇲🇽
@JoseAugusto-oc9hu6 күн бұрын
Remember that many of the artifacts discovered throughout this time, paintings, figures, skeletons, etc., that are important, even if they were part of the pyramids, were transferred to the anthropology museum. It means that the pyramids were not seen in their maximum splendor that way. But it was even decided to remove important stone structures for their preservation and take them to the CDMX Museum of Anthropology.

It's a jaguar sound... Civilizations in antique Mesoamérica (Central and South México) used to venerate the jaguar as a symbol of power and bravery... There was even a special kind of warrior called "Caballero Jaguar" for the bravery and skill in the combat arts. Of course, non Mexicans with an ignorant point of view and zero knowledge also have an opinion... 🇲🇽

You guys should really really really do the hot air balloon tour! It’s above those pyramids and there are a tons of other balloons and you get to see the sunset, eat, coffee, it’s very early though so it’s usually chilly. However, I did it and 100% recommended

Today, some surgeons use obsidian blades because their edge is up to five times thinner than steel scalpels. The cuts made with obsidian blades are finer and cause less damage to organic tissue, allowing surgical wounds to heal more quickly.

When they say a god with a snake body and feathers, they are talking about reptilians, but mainly about one who was Quetzalcoatl, the reptilian who taught them agriculture and the art of war.

"The feathered serpent God" is more like a dragon ... Quetzalcoatl was his name ... The cultures in ancient Mexico created a panteón of gods and legends bigger than the Greek or Egyptian cultures I would say ... 🇲🇽
