A Day in My Life (#12): Festival in Hokkaido, Japan

Recently, Ryosuke and I spent about a month up in Wakkanai (which is basically the northernmost city in Japan). He was doing work; I tagged along to explore, draw comics, and make videos.

I ended up being so busy up there (as well as getting sick for about a week) that I didn't have any time to edit videos. So I'm doing that now.

That was a neat video Grace and Ryosuke. I hope you both remain happy and silly together forever. In the future when Ryosuke is 70 years old I can see a " Day in the Life " episode when he thinks it will be fun to cut off 1/4 inch from bottom of Grace's walking cane every day just to mess with her mind. And he also would switch Grace's oxygen bottle with Nitros Oxide ( NO ) just for laughs.

I have to say thank you for uploading your videos. I love watching all of them, and I am actually using some to help write a research paper for my Customer Service class! Hi, I see you are in Wakkanai. My mom was forced to that city when Sakhalin was taken over by Russia. Her village was rounded up by the Russian troops and forced to leave during the war. She lived in Saporro until shortly after I was born there. After marrying my dad (American) she moved away. It's interesting seeing that city that she talked about.

Great Vid! Jealous that you guys are in Hokkaido! For some odd reason ticket prices to hokkaido jump 4-5x the day we arrive in japan on the 10/22 and wasn't worth the price to head up there this time around. Definitely on the bucket list! Will definitely use your upcoming Vlogs as references of places to check out when we get to go. The clouds at 7:17... WOW! They actually look like a CGI. On Ryosuke's hair: to his right it's pointy, yet uniform (kinda like a single point); to his left it's also pointy, but "messy"; I would recommend right for more "formal" situations, but left for his everyday life.
