What I like about the ADIML videos is simply seeing you guys live a simple life and enjoying what you have going on. Also, seeing you guys live in a place that I personally hope to live some day is nice, because it's not some extravagant life. You guys enjoy simple pleasures and so it's nice to see that and know you don't have to live the more often seen or advertised "city life." You guys show a different side to Japan aside from the city. It's you two being such positive and happy people that make it all look so appealing and interesting more than anything. So, I'm always excited to see another ADIML video up! Thank you guys for posting and sharing your life with us!

I love this kind of video because you're real and simple. You don't brag about all the glamorous things you have in Japan like most youtubers in Japan. You also love nature and prefer a quiet, modest life like me. I love both you and Ryosuke.

I am completely addicted to the ADIML videos, they're like a realistic documentary on life in Japan, everyday stuff but because it's so different from the West it is utterly fascinating. And it helps that you're both very engaging! :D

These videos are very calming to watch. Not sure what it is about them, but it is very relaxing to watch your DIMYL videos. Perhaps it's the familiar sounds of a morning routine, or the music that places during scenic shots. Whatever the case, they bring a smile to my face and I feel like I can jumpstart my day a little bit more (especially since I normally wake up around 11... haha) All of your videos are great, but these videos, I guess are more personal in a way? I don't know. I'm rambling but yes. Loved the videos!

With these DIML videos, we get to see everyday life in a country with a beautiful and alluring culture that most of us probably won't get to see firsthand. You and Ryosuke exhibit such a reassuringly strong, quirky, and very loving relationship while sharing with us the adventures and struggles of living abroad in an international relationship. You meet adversity with smiles and in this time when we get bombarded with so much negativity and drama it's very reassuring to see that some people are getting it right. I'm sure others feel the same but I can only speak for myself, these vids cheer me up and make my day when they're posted. Thank you both. 😄

I really like your DIML videos. I don't know why but I really like seeing how you guys live. You are one of the most genuine and down to earth vloggers still on KZbin and there is something about you guys relationship and is so sweet and raw. As for video ideas, can Ryosuke do some cooking videos? I'm super interested in Japanese food. Have a lovely day! I'd really like to meet you one day.

You asked what we like about your DIML videos.... For me, it is all about how real it is... We get a sneak peak into a Published authors life! I know I'm trying to write a book but to see into your life and see how normal you are makes me feel like I don't have to be anyone but me to accomplish my task. That it doesn't matter how normal or extravagant my life is because I can just be me and still be successful! I love your comics and can't wait till the next one is out! I will be buying it soon after it's out lol.. Thank you for inspiring me to be me!

I love these kinds of videos from you. I watch many vloggers and everyone just seems to have such a "perfect" life but yours look so real. I love it.

I think the reason that I like DIML videos is the interesting view you get of a "normal" life in another country. Yes, it might seem like mundane, but it really is fascinating. Also, I think these types of videos make the viewer feel like they are developing a close knit "family-like" relationship with you. We are happy when you've had a good day, laugh when you cute things, and commiserate when you silly/stupid things. It helps build a close social group that makes us happy to support your videos!

Hi, I think this is my first time commenting even though I have been a viewer for a while! I love your DIML videos because they're always really relaxing to watch. Your videos show a lifestyle that feels relatable to me as an early 20 something year old who doesn't have a lot of extra cash, who enjoys biking, who likes to socialize (occasionally), who loves to cook and appreciates food being made by loved ones :D I guess what I'm trying to say is that we have similar interests and I love how you appreciate the small moments in life. Woah that was a long comment, thanks Grace and Ryosuke for making these!

Would like to see Ryosuke's day as well, probably would be filled with his humor, haha Grace, try a warm cup of green tea. Sip it over time and just sit in a room with just minor lighting. It will get your body in sleep mode and you should be able to sleep much better. I hope it works for you as well as it is for me! Good luck!

Love you guys! I enjoy your DIML videos a lot since they show the snippets of daily life in another country that you don't always get in the planned sit-down videos, and I find it very interesting. Even just seeing your apartment is different since I've never been to Japan. Or the types of food you're cooking and taking off your shoes before entering places. I loved seeing your videos of the farming day and the foot baths too. Maybe one day I will visit Japan. Hugs from Wisconsin! :)

In answer to your question, Grace: 1. Both you and Ryosuke are upbeat and attractive, and have a great chemistry with each other (btw, anyone who tells you that you look "old" Grace is either crazy or jealous. Don't listen to them. You both look young and the same age to me) 2. Grace, one of the reasons I watch your videos is because you've got a curious mind. While it's obvious that you're both on a tight budget (like many of us !), you still like to get out and try new things in a foreign country, and you share all of this with us. Some of us wish that we had lived life as adventurously as you are. 3. It's an escape. When I watch your videos, especially a Day in Life series, it is easy for me to live vicariously through you in Japan, a country that I always wanted to visit.

When Ryosuke was feeling "green" he had already been awake for over 11 hours... by five it had been twelve hours... before even going home and cooking dinner. When 10:00pm hit he had been awake for about 17 hours! That is a long day. DIML videos are nice in their celebration of the mundane - but in a good way... very fun!

Thanks, Ryosuke. I will track it down. I am trying to find shows to watch to improve my Japanese, but I keep on looking around the characters. I keep thinking that family house looks very tidy? Do families have sit down meals for breakfast? Is that a typical car for that particular character? Can they really park on the road outside their house. Note to self, visit Japan sooner rather than later..
