Also, I really really really enjoyed seeing you two biking and spending time together at the park although I wish I could've seen more. I hope you guys would be able to do a full video of biking and maybe showing us a bit more of what it looks like in your area! I also felt kind of bad for Ryosuke in the video since he fell and broke your hammock and had his tummy aching after you guys had dinner. Still a great video and thoroughly enjoyed it! I don't know how available such things are in Japan, but for stomach ache you can apply peppermint oil in a carrier oil (5 drops peppermint oil to a teaspoon carrier oil - usually olive or coconut) and it eases the cramps and the gas / bloating. If the gastric distress progresses then try a tablespoon of apple cider vinegar in a mug of hot water which eases the peristalsis and makes everything easier to bear when the gut rebels against you. Hope it helps for next time.

Oh wow, is that a farm stand where they just trust you to pay for what you buy? That would never fly in America. People would take everything without so much as leaving a dime

JJ Bazile In Germany when you buy potatos and fresh veggys from the local farmers you sometimes are allowed to just go into their stock and take what you and when leave the money in a bowl or something similar. Not all farmers do that but some.
@sunshinetomato9 жыл бұрын
JJ Bazile I'm going to second what mlindsey1986 said -- I grew up in Pennsylvania and we had farm stands all over the place where they just trust you to pay. That's how I grew up, it was the norm.

sunshinetomato yep it is true I also live in Pennsylvania and in some rural areas they do this as well.

Agreeing with all of the above. Rural PA has lots of places like this as well as places where you can "pick your own." For a smaller price you can go out in the field and pick what ever the in season thing is, usually fruit. Much of it is honor system.

When I did my home stay in Japan we actually didn't wear slippers in the house. Everyone (but grandma) went barefoot or wore socks which was super convenient for me because i was afraid it was going to take forever to get used to slippers. But also i SUPER miss Japanese bread. Like I actually had a hard time with a lot of Japanese food (a lot made me nauseous for some reason?) So I ate a lot of different breads and they were always delicious. I also miss weird things like apple juice because it all tasted really different bur super super good.

Hint on sunburns: I'm very white (I make paper look tan) and I burn very easily. If you are out in the sun for too long put vinegar on the potentially burned areas. The sooner the better. I've done this on my face as well. The cheapest vinegar you can get is best, White vinegar is what I use since I'm... no it's just the cheapest(any kind of vinegar will work in a pinch). Again, the sooner you put it on the better. It will sting for a moment if you are already showing some burn and it will sting each time you put more on but the burn will not hurt after. Get enough on you to sit on the surface of your skin, just pat it on, don't rub! I learned this technique decades ago and I've never suffered with a painful sunburn since. Oh, and it will tan the skin. If you're like me, it will just peel off, but some people will tan and stay tan.
@hearsthewater8 жыл бұрын
You have probably already been told this a thousand times, but the next time you get a sun burn, put equal parts vinegar and water in a spray bottle and spray it on your burn every so often. You will smell like a pickle, but the burn will cool down very quickly.

+Texan in Tokyo I like the rice paddy. It is like in the Cambodian countryside. Here in the countryside, you can see it all over the horizon. It is so green and smells so good with palm trees dotted everywhere. During the monsoon, we get a lot of all kinds of fish , crabs frogs and snails from the fields so we don't need to buy it . it is always hot so we grow what we need in the countryside. We only buy MSG, salt sugar , fish sauce , soy sauce , noodles and some spices. Life is simple and relaxing. I don;t like cities' lifestyle at all. We go to the city just for a quick visit only. City's life is too stressful for me. Thank you so much for your videos. You guys are awesome, a perfect happy couple !!!.
