Hey Grace, I usually don't comment on videos but I just wanted to say thanks for creating these "day in my life" videos; I especially love the way you put the time in the top left corner. For some weird reason seeing you accomplish so much in a period of time motivates me to get off my butt and do something. I'm always amazed at how you can get through so much in the morning while I do almost nothing and its already lunch. your videos provide lots of motivation to work as well as a great insight into the japanese life!

+Teresa Simpson Of course! They are normally extremely reliable. The only time the train was late for me was when there was a Typhoon. I was in Japan for over a year, and the train was only late once. Even when it's late, you can get a piece of paper telling your employer that it was the trains fault, and not yours.

Omg, i just had a similar dilemma. Here in LA, el nino just hit us resulting in a sudden massive amount of rain. I go to college that is 2 hours by public transit. On that day, in the middle of the freeway, the bus suddenly stops at the side and the driver said it broke down and we need to transfer to a different bus which comes in 45 minutes. Yet despite the heavy amount of rain causing a tremendous amount of traffic (more than the LA usual), I somehow made it to my class in time.

I am sorry about your stressful train experience, I am not a huge fan of rain either though luckily where I live we don't get that much rain.Oh and I feel your pain about finding shoes, I have really small but wide feet so I can like never find shoes and I really hate shoe shopping because of it.
