Hello Mr. Markus, I hope you are doing well. I watched one of your videos where you mentioned that being part of the TUM start-up can provide an exemption from tuition fees. I would like to know how to join this start-up and benefit from the tuition fee exemption from the first year if I have the opportunity to apply to TUM. I have another question: Do you think it would be possible to obtain a pre-admission at TUM with a B1 level in German ? Thank you in advance for your response.

Hi Joël! so as far as I understood it, you can only get exempt from the fees if you found a startup, not if you join a startup. And as far as I know there is unfortunately no such thing as a pre-admission.

Hey Markus, I am actually studying in a Studienkolleg, I am writing my final exam this week. I will be applying to TUM in the upcoming winter semester. Since I am passing this summer semester from my studienkolleg so I am going to do my first Informatik semester in my city in a public university and then I will change my university in winter sem to TUM, my main concern is how will I know which credits will be transfered and which not? I am really confused about this credits thing. also the second question: I also want the need based scholarship for my bachelors in TUM in informatik. Will you please guide me for that?

Hey! Regarding the credits it's a bit difficult to tell. Basically if there are courses that are equivalent to the courses at TUM you should be able to transfer the credits, however TUM might be very strict and it's hard to tell what will be accepted. You will just have to send the documents and see once you have the credits and are in TUM. Regarding the need based Scholarship: you should be able to find all information online. As l also haven't applied for it myself and am just a student myself I wouldn't be the right person for guidance anyway I think 😅😅
