The book you mentioned 'Grace: A Memoir' is about Grace Coddington lol. Grace Coddington worked at British Vogue as a fashion editor for many years. In 1987 she left to become design director at Calvin Klein. In 1988 when Anna Wintour became editor-in-chief of US Vogue she asked Grace Coddington to join the team as creative director, which she did until 2016 when she became creative-director-at-large.

I have those red bumps too - it’s called keratosis pilaris and supposedly exfoliating and vitamin C helps. Although for me I’ve found nothing works other than being in a warm climate.
