A Day In Our Life | First Watch Breakfast Review, Home Tour & Home Goods Halloween Shopping

With our hectic schedules recently we had limited time to film a formal theme park centered video. Since we didn't want to miss a release and had some positive feedback from our previous Disney Home Shopping Haul, we decided to offer a video showing what a somewhat average day looks like for us.
In this video, we dine at the new First Watch in Davenport, Florida. This cafe/restaurant specializes in breakfast and lunch offerings. First Watch prides itself in its fresh farm to table cuisine and its interior decor helps to complement its focus on freshness.
Along with breakfast, we had to do some Halloween/Fall shopping and provide a brief over view of the offerings that can be found at Home Goods.
At the end, we provide a tour of the first level of our new home. Going over the picture we purchased from the Lakeland Antique Mall and the style we tried to emulate when decorating.

So happy for you on the new home! Pets are really hard on those vertical blinds, so it’s probably a great thing that Jay knows how to repair them now. I would like to see your normal diet, just to see how you balance all the theme park treats.

It's definitely an important skill since I'm learning Frank seems to love playing in those blinds 😆. One of the reasons I brought up wanting to show our usual diet to our viewers is to show balance. I've been involved with fitness for a long time and health is often displayed as overly complicated or unattainable because it's easier to monetize it that way. Either way, I digress. Maybe one day! Thank you so much for your very kind words. We’re definitely very real 😂 We work full time jobs in addition to the vlog and it took us 6+ years to save up for this. The market is still crazy, but a lot of the new builds here offer really good incentives, so we got a low interest rate & closing costs covered which helped immensely! We aren’t in a flood zone so our insurance isn’t too bad, but I’m sure at renewal things will go up like everything else. Our rent was getting out of control and it didn’t make sense to keep throwing that money away each month. The house is very cozy, and we feel very at peace here ❤️

Thank you so much! We had over 500 clips from the hotel and just to get the clips into the editing software and to sift through them, takes up a lot of time. The tour itself was also pretty long. The dining reviews are usually a quicker edit but picking the music, and the b-roll shots, and the text for the item descriptions adds on to the editing process. It's definitely a labor of love. Frank LOVES the house- so many different places to nap. We all feel really at peace here. Say hello to Charlie for us!!!

Finally watching a video early!!! As if I could not like you guys more you have a Tolkien quote up in your house! Theme parks, fun food, Tolkien and dogs! Very excited for you both on the big move. Your home is lovely (we have the same faux fireplace but mine is dark cherry wood... Gen X with her cherry wood, china hutch filled with fine china lol). While you were filming First watch I went to see if there are any in California! Alas there are none. We absolutely love First Watch and the first place we had it at was Williamsburg when we'd go to Busch Gardens. Their food is so fresh and you have got to try their Pumpkin Pancakes (forgot if you did already,) when fall comes. We're looking forward to their return. We enjoy your day of your lives videos, it's something different and I know you feel bad but you're friends and true fans will understand why you've been busy. Especially with something as life changing as moving to a new place. Thanks for the tour! Beautiful theming all around and can't wait to see it in person one day. We like making these, definitely a bit easier, and we're happy they seem to do a little better now. Pongo was saying hi! We can't wait for you guys to visit. If you ever need a place to stay for a trip we have a guest room with a light Be Our Guest theme 🙂. We did think the Gingerbread pieces were odd. It was great though. These types of videos help us out so much because we're getting stuff that needs to be done and they are easier to edit since we aren't adding in music, too much b-roll, or any text. I was really hesitant about that all white kitchen, but the changes we made have given it a lot more personality. I am sure more blinds will be breaking, especially with Frank around. First Watch is a solid spot and I'm happy it's so close to us now. Haha I totally thought that too about the diapers.
