Awesome place!!! The bus ride had some beautiful views!!! The town looks so peaceful! I've always been intrigued by towns that are right by the narrow waterways like that! Excellent tour, my Friend and the cannon was the topper! Lol Hope all is well!!! 😁🤙👊

This looks like a lovely cruise port. Fascinating to learn it’s connection to embarkation for D-day, wow. Weymouth looks so lovely with all of the boats in the harbor. Oh no about the Black Death! 😢 nice to see the boats passing under the bridge. Wow, a Tudor building!! I wish we had buildings this old and as historic. The music while you were boarding is so nice!! What a lovely spot. Thanks for bringing us along 😊

It was a very surprising place as it’s not somewhere I had been before and now I wish I had. The old buildings were so nice to see, yes probably not too many from that era in Canada 🇨🇦 I was so amazed to have that brass band there, just a fantastic experience. Many thanks for watching ☺️

Sometimes a day on land from a cruise can be very busy, but that wasn’t this tine. Such a nice place to chill out and yes, the brass and cannons was amazing. I didn’t expect either of those happening. Many thanks for watching.

Wow! I'm really enjoying this beautiful Drive! Look at that blue water! 💙 Great tip on booking excursions yourself & saving money! Love seeing the boats pass underneath the bridge. I'm loving "Hope Square!" I'd like to spend a day there! Reminds me of St. Augustine Florida which is a little over an hour from us😊 How nice to be greeted by a Band while getting back on the Ship! Canon fore too? Wow!

It was such a revelation as I wasn’t expecting much. The harbour was just so beautiful. That’s a very good point, St Augustine is very similar and just as nice. I wasn’t expecting either of those things but it really made my day. Many thanks for watching and commenting.

I love Weymouth so much! That first shot took me right back to my childhood holidays! I remember there was a walkthrough called timewalk with these cats back in the day where that construction is now I think. Thanks so much for sharing it was so lovely to see Weymouth again! 💙✨

Agreed, England is beautiful when the sun is out. I have had very good luck and have almost always had excellent weather there. The town is very picturesque and looks like a nice town to take walk. You have some bad luck on your cruises with things that are closed! Loved the send off.

This looks like a lovely harbor town. It was cool to see a number of historic sites along the way. And a brass band played you onto the ship! Very cool. Are you certain they weren't firing a cannon AT your ship as you left? Be careful out there. Thanks for sharing this lovely port excursion!

Ha ha, thankfully it was only a gun salute I and they weren’t trying to sink that ship. It was such a lovely port, I still can’t believe I’d never been there before 😳😂

Cool that the ships port here now. The top of Portland is the best, with its views of Chesil Beach. I loved the vibe of Weymouth when we visited a few years ago. Love that a brass band saw you on your way!! Then the gun salute wow!!!

hey, your videos are full of history! Fan of weymouth but as we get free train travel would probably not do a Portland cruise, but that drive up, band and cannon salute was spectacular, reminded me of by gone era of cruising, thanks for sharing.
