I prefer to apply directly to a 4-year school, but I might start at LMC to save on tuition, and because it's close to home! Afterward, I can transfer to a university and get the best of both worlds!

This has changed so much since I graduated and started here back in 2001. The scale of the school is so much larger now!

@@SeanDoesKZbin It was a long road for me since I worked full time. I went there originally wanting to graduate and transfer to Cal State East Bay. I switched to Nursing as when the recession hit in 2008, classes became sparse. But eventually went back to Art as my major. I was able to transfer all of my credits to University of AZ and it was pretty seamless and an easy experience. The LMC counselors were always very helpful. I also loved their math lab and reading and writing center. I would say 90% of my teachers were all good to great, with a handful that just weren’t a good fit for me. I didn’t take PE there (completed at DVC) but I have heard their athletic dept is really good. I hope this helps!

Went to LMC for 2 years. Transferred to Cal for EECS. Best decision ever.
