parts dept for the svc dept everywhere i have worked is one of the easiest jobs from what i saw. Lucky me i was a svc advisor (most stressful.. at times even more so than the svc mgr) also GL getting that position as most times you havae to wait til someone retires to get in. thats how gravy that job is. oh yeah and it pays decent also.. def over paid if pay is equal to stress.

That's a cool brake lathe that bolts onto the car.

They are pretty standard at dealerships now-a-days. Much quicker and you don't have to do multiple passes on the rotor like you do on bench style. They are a bit intimidating at first though.

Most techs make flat rate commission. Every job has a certain amount of hours the tech gets paid once the job is done essentially.

What is a throttle body service??? I work at a Toyota dealer I have never heard of this. We only clean MAF if its causing issues.

Cleaning the carbon build up in the throttle body around the throttle plate. Helps sometimes with rough idle

We call them EFI's at the dealership I work at. We just wipe down the throttle body and put in a bottle of injector cleaner in the gas tank and let it run for a few.
