Hey I’m currently pre-ot and a 2nd year as well. Do you think pre-OT is worth it job wise?
@kortwithak4 жыл бұрын
@@dlsd23 I think it’s up to the person. Is that something you want to do for the rest of your life ? that’s a question you have to think about
@dlsd234 жыл бұрын
@@kortwithak As of now it is but I may switch to health science so I have a backup plan. What did you get your undergrad in for OT school?
@kortwithak4 жыл бұрын
@@dlsd23 that’s exactly what i did. i’m 3rd year general health science with a concentration in pre ot but i’m most likely going to be just general health science, not so sure i wanna do ot anymore.

I want to go to school for OT but currently doing phlebotomy as a filler, would that have any carry over into that if I do decide to do that?
@deereneee2 жыл бұрын
Thank you for your msg! Yes there is some carry over since it is a medical degree! But you will need to make sure you have all of the pre-requisites before applying :)

Is OTA school hard and stressful??? And is it a lot of work
@deereneee3 жыл бұрын
Graduate School is not easy but it is manageable! You really have to be dedicated and really want to do your best! All programs will be stressful at some point but you need to find ways to manage your stress! Hope this helps you!

I did not go to OTA school. So I can only assume it is like most graduate programs but only 2 yrs! Doing your research and speaking to OTA students can really give you the most accurate advice! Hope this helps 😊

They have dorms for graduate students or do you stay in another form of student housing? How is it working and being in grad school?
@deereneee4 жыл бұрын
They actually have off campus housing for graduate students as well as on campus! I stayed on campus since I worked for my school. I would say that working and being in grad school is not easy but if you can multitask you will be completely fine! Check out my video about work and OT school! I go more in depth there! 😊
