Oh my ghosh.. This is truly an amazing video! Very well documented, narrated and edited. You definitely have an amazing talent in telling stories and will do well in the near future. Thank you so much for sharing this experience with us. It's amazing what they have to go through on a daily basis. That's a lot of hard work and they do it with a smile everyday. I'd pass out when 7 o'clock comes already! :) It makes you appreciate life and what you have.. Great job and thanks for sharing it with us again.. I can't wait to see your next video!

Nothing better then getting up before sunrise and sitting on the beach and watching the sun come up then taking a morning dip or snorkel. So peaceful so fresh. Sleeping late you miss so much of the island beauty and what the world has to offer for peace and tranquility.

4 AM is not quite 'freakishly' early but can certainly feel that way. One of the most interesting videos you've done. The bargaining from bike and just seeing how much work goes into simple street food with the farmers having to gather their food to the market at the same time other food is being cooked and repeat trips to the markets for new ingredients. I hope Martini and her family can appreciate the people seeing some of Balinese life via these vlogs, say thanks to them for putting up with all cameras!

Your personality still shines through even if the focus of the content is showing someone elses life in a day. Martini and her family are who I actually consider rich. They stayed authetic and traditional. Humble, hardworking entrepreneurs. PS. Just discovered your channel so I'm definitely late from this but you made me feel like it's in the present.

Looks like the life of a family in the food preparation business is the same all over the world. My Cambodian friends here in the U.S. have a donut shop and the impossibly long hours and endless toil of cooking are the same for them. But working side by side makes for a close knit family and 1st generation Asians are so stoic, they seem to be able to take life's challenges in their stride with a smile, no matter how difficult.

Another truly interesting and informative upload! Love how you are fast becoming part of the Balinese life hahaha...... Some of the breakfast food look familiar to us here in Malaysia. The tau foo, multi-coloured multilayered cakes et al. You guys are lucky!

Poppy I truly believe this is your niche, the day and life. It’s amazing how hard the work can be, how life is so different than in America. It’s very important for those who visit know how to be respectful. This experience also will be a lifelong learning for yourself learning to make foods and extending hospitality towards locals. Keep it up I feel this is something lacking from other traveling expats.

Thanks Debbie! Yeah I mean this is what I like about travel, meeting people and learning about different cultures. Seeing beautiful beaches, waterfalls, nature etc is great but it’s everywhere. Meeting people and experiencing things with locals is more interesting to me

Thank you from the bottom of my heart, with your efforts to explore more deep about one of the beautiful culture of our society in Indonesia, hopefully you have the opportunity to explore more about another cultural nation in Indonesia. Because we have 32 provinces and inhabited approximately 200 tribes with various cultures and traditions. Appriciate that a lot! My greetings from Indonesia.
