It's too amazing to study in the developed countries. I am a Vietnamese student. to be honest it's terrible we must go to school really early in the morning (6:30)although we dont have enough time to sleep because of a lot homework to do.sometimes i must to stay till 1:00am to learn by heart 5 subjects for a day but we dont have any Practice lesson.so we feel very tired the next day. After school, we go to the teacher's house to review, to study lots of things that we cant study at school. The knowledge was given to us is too useless i think it is not necessary. You learn by heart what the teacher write in the board and copy it on the paper again called " test". They teach us st that i have never seen never touched. Summary, the education of Vietnam is too silly, too crazy. It makes Vietnamese studenta to be a criminal, a useless man... More than i can say to the world to know ... love

Ok. Woah . We don't have to learn notes by heart but copy a lot of notes. I know how it is sleeping late and waking up really early. Sometimes i would sleep by 12 and wake up by 2 to read because the notes are so darn bulky. I hope you make it, school is hard.

Filipino school life: You wake up at 4:00 am then go to the main road of your city. Then, wait for a jeep, usually it's always full so be patience about it. After you got into the jeep, you have to endure the extreme HOTNESS, THE FEELING OF BEING SQUEEZE OUT AND THE SMOKES FROM THE Vehicles that's going in the road. After you get into your destination you need to walk your way into the school, usually schools here doesn't have the right place so we are forced to walk, usually it takes around 1000 feets to arrive into your school and after you've walked you are so sweaty and stinky considering that the sun early here and it's so HOT. After that, go inside the school and you'll meet the guard, usually they're good, but when they suspect something off the school's dress code, you'll get a one way trip to our discipline center which will give you an hour of community service to the school, like cleaning clogs... and washing the dishes.... After that you'll go into your classroom and presumably arrive at 6:30. Then the suffering starts.... 10 hours of suffering 😢 after that you need to go to your daily club which means another 1 hour of suffering, after all of the pain, you need to do a group project, usually there's a group project each quarter, then another hour of pain. After enduring those pain and wasting your time, it's probably 6:00 pm, now you need to get back home, that'll be 30 minutes since its faster going home unlike getting to school. So you've arrive at your home, you've eaten, do you assignments and school activities then after that you need to sleep, it's probably 10:00 pm now so you need to sleep now 😊😊 finally a break from those pain.. After that the cycle repeats for about... The whole school year 😊 (Not to mention that you can't bring phone, you can only dress with uniforms that can only be buy at the school's supplies room, and also anything that is wrong that you've did in a school year would need to be paid by either doing community service or paying 5$ every time you break the rules of the school 😣😰😩😩)

Hmm...basically the same when I went to high school back in the day but I never had a car..had to walk most of the time. I also had a shower every morning. There were no cell phones either. I'd do most of my exercise in P.E. and the walking back and forth. (40 minutes each way).

I'm concerned about the overwhelming amount of "temporary" portable classrooms. Attention is being brought forward finally, about the health and safety concerns. The excuse of budget and portables being removed when a school becomes underutilized has been debunked. It's now widely known that portable classrooms are double the cost after 20 years of what a proper school addition would cost. Adding 20 and 30 portables to a school (500 - 600 more students) without additional washrooms or a gym makes absolutely no sense. The health and safety of our children is being jeopardized and students education is tarnished. Shame on those trying to balance a budget on the backs of our children!

Yeah school starts at 9:00am here and usually ends at 3:00-3:30. School can start earlier and end later depending on if you have extracurriculars or options.

School starts at 9am in Canada and 8:40 am or before for students ask questions from teachers. 3:03 usually school ends, if you ask questions then ends at 4:15 around, depending of the teachers..... But now is different since the pandemic.....

Wake up at 9 in the morning? Lucky....when I was in highschool I would wake up at 6:30 or I would be late. The bell would ring at 8:00 and the late bell would ring at 8:05. An if you're in football you have to BE there AT 6:00 not by 8:00.

That's me but instead I wake up at 6:50 get ready by 7:50 then walk to the train station (7mins) take a train downtown (20 mins) walk to the bus stop (2mins) take the bus (20 mins) and walk to school (1min) arriving if I'm accurate by 8:40 (school starts @9)(But that's if there's no C-train warning or traffic but that never happens soo...)

We need more officers and mental health taskforces now more than ever to protect our weakest members of society from bullying, drug abuse, and sexual harassment. With eyes in our classrooms, response times from the police and Sex Crimes Unit will be dramatically improved. Sure, we could implement the same tools used by police - harass predators into lashing out and receiving an assault charge or involuntary commitment - but we would rather not resort to vigilantism. In the Turkey,school starts at 08.00 and you have to go school before this time. You can't wear strange clothes,earrings,bracelets,or etc. You can't use nail polish,makeup. Assistant managers doing control to your clothes,bags every morning in lot of schools. If you wear short or tight clothes,they brings punishes to you. Hairs are wrapped! Bad English lessons,compulsory Religion lessons. Our educational system changes every year! So we feel like players in a game. School buses are not free,you have to pay lot of money to this buses. Sorry to my English!

Depends on school. Also other than Ontario, Quebec, and some outliers, it's 10-12. Grade 9 is middle school
