I am thinking of going online in criminal justice of science to get my associates as well. I have a couple questions, starting with do you like the program online? Are there still job opportunities online, or ways to connect with your professors?

awwwwee. thank you so much for subscribing and joining the fam. 🥰 i do like the program online because, i am able to study and do assignments comfortably at home and i personally feel like its less pressure online vs. in person. there are still job opportunities but mostly in person i haven't seen many remote cj jobs since i began the program back in 2018 but you can always connect with your professor via email, blackboard, or set up a time in person (if that's an option), ect. i hope this helps. 💕

Do you need to have a bachelors degree to be a crime scene investigator, or you can become one with an associates degree?

Hey! It all depends on what is required by the state you live in. Some states require you to have a bachelors or a hs diploma and some type of background in law enforcement (ex: police officer, court clerk, finger print technician, ect.) you should research your state’s requirements. Some would even hire you on as you are still enrolled in school. (as an intern) that could be helpful with getting your foot in the door. Hope this helps!

Yes, I took 1 math class my freshman year. it was college level math(basic math) I had to have it for a credit in order to graduate but really no math is involved with this degree.
