Hello! I'd like to apply at NHL Stenden (since only they+Utrecht have CMD). I think the CMD is the perfect match for me but unfortunately very very few universities have it. I saw some really really bad reviews on google maps about the university. Can you tell me your experience?

Hi! First of all thanks for watching! And in all honesty for a masters degree there are better uni's in bigger cities that you could take a look at. And as a foreign student I think you can earn up to a certain amount from a part time job but I'm not quite sure about that. Speaking english well will definitely help you here!

Hey! Thanks for watching and congratulations on getting in! Within CMD there is a minor that focuses more on UI/UX I believe. There are some pros and cons to this uni so it’s all up to you whether you’d like to go there or not. Sure, ask away!

Is it a good place to live for an international student? How's the student life there, a lot of parties? A lot of students?

Leeuwarden isn’t that big of a city but there are some clubs/bars where you can go to and there’s a lot of community’s that organise parties around Leeuwarden. Because the Netherlands is quite small you can take a train and be in Amsterdam/Groningen/Utrecht (the bigger student cities) within 1/2 hours. However, because of Corona everything is kinda shut down now anyway and it will last atleast until half of januari.

Hi! Not sure but I think you'll be able to get a job there. And if you want to make sure about it you can always contact the international office of the Uni you want to go to!

What major do you study?

My major is called Communication & Multimedia Design. It's a very varied major as you can choose what you want to learn within the media world. Everything ranging from branding to making films. www.nhlstenden.com/en/courses/minors/branding-advertising-design This is one of the minors we have and most of the things we do in our major come back in this minor.
