The weeding you’ve done today was, for me, the most satisfying job in the garden because I could see what I’d done immediately. Super jobs today weeding and hedge cutting. I can no longer do those jobs so I really enjoy watching you. I relax just watching you. Thank you. 🤩I burst out laughing at the bear going across the screen. 🤣

Ooh to be a kid again and be allowed to play in those beds. So many little secret hidey holes to sit in and let your imagination run. Remembering the next door vacant lot, small wood really, I played in as a child. Great get away from the sibs. Large fir and cedar tree stumps were my table and pantry. Lined the area with rocks and swept the "floor" with fallen fir branches. I knew every square inch of that lot, and the owl and raven who lived there. Was chased once by a boy, ducked in there and he never found me. In it rain or shine for years. The canopy was thick enough to almost shelter you from the rain. Your video brought me back to that wood and I could smell the dirt. Nice and cool there. Good times in the Pacific Northwest. Thanks for sharing your video. A "McMansion" sits there now and doesn't fit in with the rest of the neighborhood. Sad. Also nice to know that someone else is in love with their half moon edger. My all time favorite gardening tool was stolen a few years back and I still grieve for it. LOL Too old to use it now but those edges really did give me joy. :-)

Hi Alex & Gary, wow amazing work you 2 do on a daily basis! Sound was not very good, need to put microphone a little closer to your voice! I moved my speakers to the front of my computer to hear you to talk! I really like to hear what you say, & your funny talk too! Sorry when you have to work in the rain! Alex, you have taught me a few things on mulching the dirt & weeding around the plants! Thank-You!! I am back tracking your video`s to see all video`s I haven`t seen before...to catch everything! I have not seen any yards yet that have a vegetable garden, like we have? Awesome about you talk about going home to your wife & son after work, congrats to you! How old is your son? My boys I believe are older than you are-haha! Oldest will be 47 in November & youngest will be 41 in December 2022. Getting back to how lovely everything looks after you finished & made the edging!! You talked about cold weather here in USA, well by Illinois yes can be cold & little snow...but a few states is bitterly cold like New York, Minnesota, Wisconsin & part of colorado...but some states NO SNOW & a warmer winter...California, Arizona, New Mexico, Florida..& maybe 2 more states near Florida! Have a good weekend, take care & stay safe, Love from Illinois USA

Great job as always guys. I don’t have any flowerbeds so all my plants grow in huge tubs, including my fruit trees.Picked just under 10lb of damson plums yesterday and my apple tree is loaded. I have 3 questions I hope you can answer for me. 1--When is the right month to pick the apples (they’re not ready yet)? 2--How far should I prune my roses back to ensure a nice bushy plant next year, and when should I prune them? 3--Should I prune my climbing roses?

I found your 1/2 moon edger on Amazon. I entered Manual Lawn Edger. There are a few different styles by Ames, Fiskars, Yard Butler. For the small area I have it would work fine. Yes, our weather in my state (Oklahoma) has been horribly hot this summer...the last 3+ wks it's been 90°f to 107°f. (32°c to 41°c). Ghastly hot! Nights get down to 75°f (24°c)! So, I've got weeds over 12" (30cm) in places! Arrrrg!

Proper gardening is hard work as I remember from my father working in London public parks as a gardener to then a Foreman even getting his hands dirty when he was a park manager. Don’t forget SPF50 it’s a must nowadays. You look after some amazing gardens especially garden 3, really beautiful plants. You were taught the correct way to garden, it shows. My hubby filled his diesel Amarok, Au$190 later and I fainted 😳😮😳. Have a good weekend.

Have been working on my garden for ages now, when I started back in 1995 I did everything on my weekends, but for the last 10 years I became wiser (and much older 😂😂, they say both things come together!), now I only work on the beddings and from time to time on some crazy project and leave the trimming, and grass to the professional. What I learned is that to be a gardener, you need lots of patience and be persistent because when you think you finally finished with the garden you only need to look on your back and discover it's time to start it all over again 😂😂😂.
