He placed a camera on the mirror and recorded himself brushing his teeth for the duration he wanted. he then recorded a 1st person video of the mirror trying to brush his teeth with the exact same brush strokes. He then cropped out the video with the camera in the mirror and added in the video of the camera on the mirror video shot. The way you can tell he did that is because at the bottom of the mirror you can see the crop marks (prob due to the fisheye lens making things difficult). Also if you look at his real hand and mirror hand; right at the end when he rolls his mirror hand he does not roll his real hand. Regardless it is bloody good editing skills and adds flavour to an already interesting vid.

I love all these people saying they dont like lifeguarding or telling people not to because it pays bad. Yes, it depends on where you work. Yes, it depends on who you work with. But, generally I think it's fun! Over the summer I worked as a lifeguard for a Boy Scout camp in my council. I got trained for free and worked 4 weeks. It wasn't much pay wise but we also got to do a lot more than stare at a pool for hours as well. Honestly, if you love being in the water, freshwater, saltwater, or pool, and you think you can handle the training it takes for it, go for it! (I should also mention that the certification for BSA Lifeguard is the hardest certification you can take as it requires you to be ready for open water emergencies as well as a normal drowning situation, so I had it a little harder than others but still, it's a whole lot of fun!)

I've handled calls as minor as someone needing a bandage to a none responsive patient. So at the end of the day a lifeguard is a lifeguard... oh, and you don't have to be there best swimmer. As a collegiate swimmer I've seen/worked with guards who aren't that do a better job that experienced swimmers. Keep up the good job fellow guard

Im a lifeguard, and it sucks, its an extremely easy job but it gets sooooo boring sometimes. Especially having to stay on duty for rotations when theres less than 5 people in the pool and they’re all adults just standing in the shallow end talking, they get pissed if you get on your phone so you just sit there dazing off until you get off the chair and get to go sit down and check your phone or something. But hey, it is an easy job and pays pretty good and theres little to no management enforcing any sort of tasks you have to do. Just opening and closing the pool, testing PH, and sitting in the chair for hours a day.

My experience as a lifeguard: [Opening] Me, checking the chemicals: please don’t make me have to backwash please don’t make me have to backwash please don’t Me: why the hell didn’t closing staff leave the chlorine pump on at a 1 overnight we’re at zero Me: god why did we have to get these new umbrellas [the next five hours] [absolutely nothing interspaced with cries of “NO *RUNNING*” and praying for a cloud to cover the sun] [Closing] Me: WHY ARE UMBRELLAS SO HARD TO MOVE Me: The chlorine is at a five, so turning it back on will be the opening staff’s problem.

Perla Jurado what have you done before it though, like all swimming classes (ultra 1 - 9) and the prerequisites for becoming a lifeguard?
@perlajurado89536 жыл бұрын
Urooj Gondal some swimming classes. Go swimming at the pool I'm trying to get a job in all the time so everyone already knows me. Have some friends who can help. And done swimming in highschool

Honestly, go for it! Just know your stuff, cause there's a lot of miscellaneous things that you *really* need to know

Idk if u got the job already but I’m 16 too and just started in the summer and honestly it’s not as scary as it looks and u become a family with the other lifeguards, so I hope u get it! Always stay alert tho ofc

I became a lifeguard at 16, I spent 1 and a half years doing courses to get all my certifications which was a LOT of effort and money. In the end, it's the best job you can have at that age. I'm 18 now still a lifeguard and I am so glad my parents made me start.

I’ve never guarded at a pool but I was a lifeguard at a waterfront. It must be nice to be able to see through the water

I have worked as a lifeguard for 3 months at a waterpark, and I can ensure you, this video is nothing like what the job really is about.

without a lifeguard there wouldnt be "A Day In The Life"

That seems like a pretty chill pool. My company works at a bunch of different pools and one is always CRAZY busy. 15 lifeguards and a manager on a normal day (for 4 pools and a slide) though in Texas it gets HOT. Not as fun when you’ve gotta get in every 10 mins.

My dad use to be a life guard. Once we were walking down a beach when we heard someone shouting help my dad jumped in and saved two people.

How do you qualify to become a lifeguard?
7 жыл бұрын
You pass a training and get a Red Cross certificate, I'd say that's all you need to qualify.
@certifiedaries53587 жыл бұрын
Michal Sodek and do you know how much it would cost me?
7 жыл бұрын
Where I'm from it's about $300 but that's through an agency. Not sure how much does Red Cross charge for the certs.

Do u work at the same pool as him no? Obviously there are different procedures taken by different locations. I am a life guard and honestly this video sums about all of it. Before you shame something, use something that was taught by yourself. That thing is called common sense. Have a nice one

Ive worked at 5 different facilities and they all have very different procedures
