Hi Joe, we watch you every week and love your tours and love seeing what you get up to. MILK we used to buy milk fresh every week and freeze it but it was a pain it took up too much room in the freezer, we then went on to uht milk in the cartons it is long life you can get full cream or semi skimmed it tastes lovely you don't need a fridge to keep sealed cartons so when you do a shop buy 12 pints of milk put 10 in the cupboard one in the fridge and you will never run out of fresh milk always got it for your cornflakes etc. can you give me a shout out I'm Debbie from Kilsby and I love your vlogs keep it up take care Debbie xxxxx

Excellent drone footage of Milton Keynes. I had my boat there for three years so it was great to see it from above. They have made the best of the canal there. There are lovely places and artworks all the way along. My favourite is the owl mosaic under the bridge.

I remember the Grand Union before Milton Keynes. A string of villages interspersed by massive gravel pits. The villages remain as part of MK, but the gravel pits are now extensive parkland. Little tip when casting off, I always push the back out so that the prop is in deeper water.

Try Cravendale filtered milk it has a long shelf life if you check the dates when you buy it and it can potentially last up to a week once you’ve opened it .

Hello joe. My auntie used to make crab apple jelly years ago, put all apples in pot ring to boil ,simmer forra while, then strain them to get rid of sjins seeds and core. Then put strained apples in jars, hope this is some use to you

Sour milk boil with squeeze of lemon until it separates sieve off solids make Yorkshire curd tart add fruit to taste and make pastry milk will be safe to drink now it's curds and whey in futher buy powder milk never goes off makeup in half pint batches in blender glad you're ok send l&ks to Danni xxxs

Keep a carton of long life milk in Joe for emergency’s. It will last a long time and means you won’t run out. Just keep an eye on the use by date x

Hi Joe and Danni, for when you're not moored near a supermarket you can order food via a delivery service Wes and Amy (from Boat Time) and other boaters use Tesco. I don't know if you need to pay extra and if so how much or if any other supermarkets do it since I'm not from the UK. And Danni if you're back in Jersey there is a huge crochet tapestry of the history of Jersey. I work in a crochet/knit store and a customer told me about it, he went a couple of years ago. I believe it's in an church. Maybe you would find that interesting

There's a public orchard very near to where you were moored at the start. Lots of different apple varieties and a map of which is which at the entrance. There's also one at Peartree Bridge. If you know where to look, there's also damsons near Fenny. They'd make a great jam. The tow path is great for wild food in Milton Keynes.
