Not a schoolboy error pal, just a normal day. We all make mistakes and we are never done learning. We learn just as much from getting something wrong as we do from getting it right and it's a normal part of any job that is dynamic and challenging. Most people will never post videos of their mistakes and create an image of being brilliant at everything they do. To be an effective teacher you have to show people what does and doesn't work, what can go wrong and how to prevent it happening. Nobody knows everything and nobody gets everything right.
@ActiveLockCentreАй бұрын
Thank you. This is what I'm trying to show reallife challenges on real jobs, and I agreee, I think we learn more from our mistakes than success as we have to work harder and nobody wants to work harder so we learn. Thank you again for your support 🙏

@@ActiveLockCentre You're welcome buddy. I'm a sparky and general builder although i've spent most of the last 10 years in senior management. I still muck in on site and teach when required though. Trained a few apprentices in the last 30 years too. One thing i have certainly learned, especially running contracts the run into the millions is that having an atmosphere of openness with the lads in terms of mistakes where they aren't worried they are gonna sacked or screwed over if they mess up means they don't try to hide fuck ups that are gonna come back and bite us later on. We are all human and need to recognise that. Same goes with not knowing how to do something, i'd rather people do the intelligent thing and ask than attempt to wing it. There was a time when none of us knew how to do it.

It's really hard with chronic lung disease to talk and do something especially if it involves bending kneeling getting up and down. You have to think you are out of breath with just mild extertion. Next time you walk up the stairs grab a straw, pinch your nose and only breathe through the straw whilst climbing one flight of stairs, then you'll have a concept of just how incredibly hard it is to breathe with severe chronic lung disease. Full credit to the locksmith for still being able to do a manual labour job.
