There are many jobs in it. Im turning 19 and soon going to college for it. My choice is being a marine ecologist. I love how the oceqb interacts with the sea life and how the sea interact with eachother. It all depends on what you love about the ocean. If it is a specific group of animals that live in the ocean you can be a marine zoologist.

Live coral?!?! I recently saw a fish tank with what I think was live coral and it was simply magical. So cool the entire park has live coral!!

I’m going into the coast guard. I just graduated high school and found out that the coast guard academy has a marine biology program I some day want to open up my own ocean center but was wondering how I could get a hold of some marine biologist to pick their brain and get some of their thoughts and advice

hey!! im 13 and ive always wanted to work with dolphins, sea turtles, rays, ect. i want to know how i can get more into it since i live in iowa, not very close to the ocean, my moms family lives in alabama so we go every summer or every other summer. last year i went to a marine camp and it was a lot of fun

What kind of college degree did you get and how long did it take for you to get your current job title? I've loved all kinds of animals my whole life and I'm curious about marine biology. Looking into the various different animal degrees, this has caught my eye. Degrees like Ecology have steered me away because of the desks and the research analyzing. I love the passion you have for your job! You're living the dream :)

Now i'm no expert but try looking for a university that offers biological sciences and/or marine sciences if you can get both then that's fantastic. you should also get a bachelors degree if you wanna become a marine biologist and maybe shoot for a masters even though it's not exactly required it can get you into a better position
