KMC is greedy, incompetent and stingy. Greedy for taking 650 perday. Asking for 50-100 is reasonable and understandable but 650 is too much. Incompetent for not looking after your workers, atleast provide them lunch (kind of shameful that a municipal council can't even provide lunch to their workers) and last but not the least stingy because their salary is way too less. Working for 8 years in the same position with no hiked in the salary. Imagine working for the municipal council for 8 years and getting paid only 6k per month that should be illegal.

This is so eye-opening. I frequent Jail Colony a lot and she's always a familiar face. The fact that she has to stand out for hours, endure abuse from entitled individuals, and yet still have a smile on her face; breaks my heart. Her grit and determination to her work is an inspiration that cannot be measured by a 650 rupees quota. She's worth far more. Next time I see her, I'll be sure to to tell her this myself. 26 working days (excluding 4 Sundays) is 16900 Rupees (650×26= 16900). She should be paid at least 10k as monthly salary or else it's nothing but exploitation of human service.

Whenever I go to jail colony I use to see her sincerely doing her work but don't know about her personality yet I got her information from this youtupp. She deserve the highest award for supporting her nephews and struggling with the fullest dignity of labour if the world is fair enough to award the best person who contribute his or her services seeing the financial condition in their life and still lead a good citizen.

Damn it! I’ve stayed in Kohima for 8yrs and I met this lady everyday around BOC, Pr hill and then town area. We used to exchange looks and greet one another everyday be it rainy or sunny day.I never understood her life or her struggle and it piss me off the way she is getting paid. Can someone help connect me to her? I’m not rich but these hardworking people deserves help.Even that hotel she went to have chai is in PR hill and I used to be a regular customer because of their poori…damn what a memory
