Honing your skills and not just to settle on what you have at present but adding more to you craft will make you a better cook and as an individual as a whole.

Hi brother I am sixty six years old and just retired as chief cook after twenty five years going to sea ,first in the merchant marine and then in my country's coast guard. I believe that it's the hardest job on any ship as you are tested three times a day by every crew member.I loved it!

What sort of a ship was that. Most ships have a Cook and a Mess Mate, to carry out tasks such as washing dishes and other similar tasks.
