Okay so this might be a stupid question but as a swim instructor do I have to fully submerge myself ? 😭 I’m thinking of applying but I have curly hair and that would ruin it if I work everyday 💀 maybe I shouldn’t apply 😭

Hello! It depends where you work and what level you're teaching. If you're teaching younger kids, they may be scared to submerge themselves, so you should set the example. If you're teaching more experienced students, you may need to demonstrate a specific stroke.

How much do they pay per hour and how many hours can I work?

Hi! It depends on where you work, but I got paid minimum wage. Also, at least for when I worked, you can choose your desired hours!

Do i have to pass all your swimming levels to become a swimming instructor

For my workplace, we didn't necessarily have to pass all the swimming levels, but had to swim certain lengths for freestyle, backstroke, breaststroke, and butterfly. We also had to tread water.
