My mentor was your age when he got hired and went through the academy, so it is doable for sure. As long as you crush the testing process, are healthy and can do the job of a firefighter, and you fit the mold of the department you want to pursue, then absolutely you can make it just like those that came before you. I also have an academy brother that was in his 40s when he went through with us. It’ll be challenging, but It can be done Gerardo 💪🏼
