I mean look where he lives lol. If he had a car he'd still need a bike to get to parking lol. And the parking would probably be further away than anywhere he has to go.. a lot of places are just built around not owning a car and it's honestly a lot better than needing a car to get anywhere.. plus they have such good public transportation the need for a vehicle is ordinarily more of a hinderence than a luxury. You just spend more on parking it and payments on it and barley use it and never really actually need to use it. Everything is either within a mile or so or you have public buses and trains running non stop every half hour or so. They're very wealthy small areas built around ease of access and public transit..
